I've been visiting Christmas tree farms on an off for over 20 years now and I consider myself something of an evergreen conifer enthusiast so trust me when I tell you, "This place really has it all for anyone who loves looking at big, beautiful, lateral buds!" I'll never forget the quality of the sterigmata on their spruce trees or the way the needle fascicles grow so beautifully from them! It's a sight to behold and I've never seen anything quite like it at any other tree farm in America. Because of this, it's fairly obvious that the team at Dreaming Farms Pumpkin Patch and Christmas Tree Farm takes pride in what they do and there's no doubt they put the utmost care and love into every tree they grow. It didn't take long for us to find the right tree and within minutes I gazed at the most beautiful pines on one of the first trees I came across. A feeling of warmth instantly came over me and I knew I had to listen to my gut and select this tree! It reminded me of the time me and my father embarked on our first hiking trip to procure a family Christmas Tree in 89' and the feeling we both had when we finally found the tree our family would care for over that wonderful Christmas season. I'm not lying when I tell you that I began to tear up with nostalgic joy. My wife couldn't understand what came over me, but I couldn't help but weep in reaction to the sublimity of it all. This place truly is magical. I appreciate the sights, the care, the atmosphere of this tree farm and the customer service that we were provided with after we finally (once I was able to settle down from the sheer excitement of it all) picked out our tree was second to none. Thank you Dreaming Farms Pumpkin Patch and Tree Farm for helping us pick out our tree this Christmas season!...
Read moreI’ve come to Dreaming Farms twice in the past couple of weeks. Parking is pretty simple on a Sunday. I found staff nice and it wasn’t busy at the pumpkin patch. I liked all the Fall decorations for sale in addition to a variety of pumpkins. I ended up buying some local SC honey since we go through a ton.
The pumpkin patch is small but mighty. There are a ton of different kinds of pumpkins which is great. I also appreciated all the photos opportunities for my kid.
The one negative is that pumpkins are 2-3x the cost of store pumpkins. I did purchase a pumpkin but the large ones were way more expensive than I’m willing to pay for something I can buy for 3-4x less.
With that said, I like this place and...
Read moreUsually when I’m dreaming of pumpkins, it’s a nightmare. But at Dreaming Farms Pumpkin Patch, I can rest easy knowing that their quality and prices can’t be beat. Having never married, I don’t have children of my own, but I get to spend a few weeks each year with my two beautiful nieces. It’s so important to me to have someplace as special as Dreaming Farms to take them and make those precious memories that they will carry with them forever. Time is precious. I only wish there were more places like this to spend...
