This place used to be one of the best places to go (out of goodwills)! Now itās the worst one Iāve ever been everyone keeps telling me go to this place itās better than goodwills nowadays, I donāt listen. Mainly one because I Love supporting GOODWILLS! Letās give a shout out to new manager! Only b/c everyone Iāve talked to in the store which are the people who have been there years literally have said youāre the one who has made it that way moving some close a different way! Putting them all in order (which theyāre not)! I was in the store today looking for two lamps and I seen a book shelf thatās been out three days now I talked to a Manager in the store and she was afraid to mark it down the percentage itās supposed to bee afraid to do her own job!!! Imagine how that would feel?? Really only thing I asked was to mark it down to what it should be and Iāll take it right now! They said will mark it down first thing Sunday morning? Iāll be there to buy it in the morning! And to meet you, the new manager! Because I thinks sells have probably dropped! Maybe not for the little spinning of the close after that gets old which it will it will start dropping because Iām in sales myself and to make money you do what customers want or ask? Please correct me if Iām wrong! But you wouldāve made two sells with me today on top of the fourth other things I bought! Coffee mugs they actually had a price on them!!!! NOTHING ELSE I LOOKED AT LIKE A SET OF BOWLS AND PLATES AND MUGS AND CUPS!! Some towels I heard some other lady's talking about! Itās sad you were the number one store out of north chuck, Mount Pleasant, West Ashley and the store in the corporate building here!!!! Iām so disappointed, discussed, just sad corporate canāt see it!!! Or they see it and know thereās just no one who wants the job because there is too much to do? People leave left and right in this place! Lord Iāve typed so fast and mad š” idk if this will make since! Iām not proof reading because obviously YOUR WHO STORE DONT! Your favorite but last time Iāll be around...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm writing a long overdue review from a particular experience I had on 9/24/2013. I was in Charleston vacationing with family. On the last day of our trip we stopped into Goodwill to shop. Just before leaving, I used the restroom and accidentally left my change purse in the bathroom stall. It wasn't until we had driven all the way back to our home in Florida that I realized it was missing. I called the store as soon as it opened the next morning and learned someone had given my change purse to the manager. A few days later, on August 27th, the change purse was returned to me by mail complete with the $100 I had brought with me on my trip. I don't know who turned my wallet in, but thank you! And thank you to the management staff who went out of their way to send it back to me! Besides amazing customer service, the store was clean, there were plenty of name brands to be found in the clothing, and I was able to purchase a Tiger Oak headboard! The next time I'm in Charleston, I'll make sure to take a trip...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreQuit allowing people to bring their PETS shopping!!!!This is not the first time Iāve went into this particular goodwill and had to listen to someoneās dog barking being pulled behind them. The supervisors here refuse to say anything to someone that brings in an animal that are obviously not service animals.Attention..if a animal is misbehaving or being pushed around in a cart or stroller they are not a service animal!(and NO, emotional support animals are NOT permissible as Service animals in the way that legally they do not get the same allowances such as business entry)Allowing people to do this makes it harder when people who actually need these animals bring them in stores. It is your obligation to the other customers in the store that you address these situations. You are choosing to not upset one customer who is breaking the law and you have allowed many other customers shopping experience to be unpleasant. It is a shame I had to speak up today and the management...
