Target — Local services in Charleston

I do not usually post reviews but working for the public I know how crucial reviews can be so I wanted to share my experience at this West Ashley Target. I went in yesterday evening with my friend and came to check out to be greeted by Elizabeth. She had the biggest smile on her face, she was extremely friendly and she made our evening. We chatted while she rang in my items. She told me that she was a holiday temp employee and she wished to have a full time position but was told that she could not. I hope that the correct management staff will review this posting because she absolutely deserves a full time position with Target. Every company needs those like Elizabeth. Although I spent way too much money last night, I want to go back today just so I can buy more and come to her check out line. She is wonderful. When seeing this target I was thinking this target was going to be my Disney world but boy was I disappointed. When walking in I was met with a hot mess. It looked like soccer moms had went through searching for a Fourth of July outfit. I was thinking I would jus go peak and see if I could find a Stanley no the water bottle isle had been wiped out. So then I thought from my lil Dayton hotel exsperience I have been braking out so let me go grab some pimple patches but clearly the eight year Sephora girls have had a party. I finally found what I needed and made my way to the self checkout which is your only option to get out of this joint. The line at the self checkout makes you think you think it is Christmas and you gonna walk out to snow and Christmas lights but no I was met with the summer heat. I am impressed by the efforts the Charleston, SC Target is making. In the past, the store has been disorganized. I went this past week and the store is much more on top of their efforts to stay stocked and organized. There is still some room for improvement, but they have come a long way! After my shopping experience, they emailed me and asked for a review and I let them know a few things that might be helpful to stock in the beauty department. I also applauded them on their efforts to improve the store - they do not go unnoticed! In response, I received an email back from Cameron Urenko thanking me for my review as well as touching on the points I had about the beauty department. That follow-through is one of the things that makes great customer service. I definitely recommend this target and hope they continue their hard work and great efforts to be a great addition to the West Ashley community....
