I have spent decent money at the store buying CDs over the past couple months. I was happy to see a CD that I liked that was advertised at a price that I liked. I knew I wanted other CDs so I chose to come in on a second Sunday, where the advertisement is 20% off all CDs. There is no asterisk here. When I went to purchase my cd, the price was higher than I expected. The advertised price was not honored ( which stated it would come off automatically at the register). After I raise the issue, and the employee didn't believe the price I was saying and checked on it themselves, they honored that price but did not give the 20% off. The 20% off was the reason I came in. The Sunday CD sale is advertised as 20% off all CDs. There is no exception for a CD that is clearly already marked down. After purchase, in my car I felt so soured about the business ethics here that I returned to CD that I wanted. I could spend more money somewhere else and feel better about it. Besides that, the store has a large selection, and plenty of hidden gems. I liked this store before today but moving forward I will just purchase online from a different...

Went in had items I wanted to trade old great classic and all. Called before going the gentleman said oh look around it will take a minute before I had a chance to look at anything he walked up to me and said oh we not interested mind you some of my items wasn't even open. This state is very racist slavery is over with I thought. I didn't need any money wanted to do trades only very disrespectful didn't said hello or welcome to monster music and movies all it was is what you wanna sell some stuff. All black people isn't broke remember that. Made that statement because you treated me like you were a racist God bless will never purchase trade or do business with this company. First off I didn't deal with the owner. So your comment means nothing to me don't respond on something you know nothing about. I know how I was treated when I came in the store. You can stay off my reviews and I never had any vinyls only DVDs my point on saying you wasn't present when I came to that store have a great day! Very good selection of new and used physical media. Stores like Monster are getting to be a rare find as everything is going to digital media. If you can't find it, I am told by the most excellent staff that new items are brought to them almost daily. They have records, tapes, and CDs that I have not seen in years. The prices are very reasonable and they have many highly sought after items that collectors are looking for. If you don't have a record player or you need speakers or a needle for yours it's cool, they got you covered. Again the prices are very reasonable for those as well. DVD's and Blu-Ray selection is great too. I will gladly return there many times because the selection is so vast you can't see everything in just a half hour. The store has the same atmosphere as the record stores in the mall had many years ago. I kept expecting to see a video game arcade and a hot pretzel shop on either side of the store. If you love this kind of thing definitely check them out...
