King Acai and Bubble Tea — Restaurant in Charleston

Incredibly disappointed and frustrated with this place. I tried it last week and it was delicious.. so when I was craving it tonight I looked up what time they closed and saw they closed at 6. I arrived at 5:40 and unloaded my 4 kids including my 3 week old baby.. got inside by 5:50 to be told by the man at the counter “sorry I’m closed”. I said it says online you close at 6 and he looked at me and just shrugged his shoulders and said “yeah well it’s 5:52 and we have to close up everything” like i was dumb to expect them to actually be open until 6. Then.. after loading all my kids back up into the car I see them walking out to their vehicles at 5:59. This is such horrible customer service.. they just want so badly to be done with their work day that they close up early refusing service to someone there within the listed business hours. Had a disappointing experience at this King Açaí and Bubble Tea in the Citadel Mall . I ordered Thai Tea with Boba, but they suggested Jasmine Milk Tea with Boba due to their powder-based drinks. Unfortunately, it wasn't to my liking. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, they insisted on a repurchase at a discounted rate rather than remaking or refunding. King Acai and Bubble Tea at the Citadel Mall is an absolute gem! The guy Albush at the front was extremely nice and helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable. Their organic acai bowls are some of the best I've ever tasted, packed with fresh and delicious ingredients.
