The Playroom — Local services in Charlotte

Our band has been rehearsing here since our inception back in January of 2020. We can't imagine rehearsing anywhere else, the feel and accommodations actually push you to live up to all the great names who have walked thru those doors. Production Room Rehearsal - 11/21/2020 - We needed to shoot some video footage as well as get band some pics made so I booked the production room at the Playroom. This day couldn't have gone any better. Gary the engineer was most accommodating, from sound to lighting. He was a step ahead at every corner. That in itself meant a lot while trying to accomplish the agenda! Eddie, you really have something special in this place - Thank You!...

Big roaches in my room every other day, bathrooms are disgusting, restrictive hours, almost no parking at all, you can still hear the music from the other rooms perfectly, extremely overpriced. And as if all that wasn't bad enough, the cherry on top is the awful leak in my room that destroyed my DW drums, that the owner of course didn't want to have anything to do with and did not help with.

The only good thing about this place is the the size(if you get the right room) and the networking you can do with other musicians. Other than that save yourself some money and head to noda studio...

The Playroom is a great place to work out of. It's a great facility with many different options (size, equipment, lease terms) to fit any level of players needs. There's a lot of history to look at on the walls, great bands to run into at any hour, and when I was presented with my room it was in pristine condition. Eddie (owner) is professional, super easy to work with and couldn't be a nicer guy. Would recommend The Playroom for anyone touring through, or settling in...
