InkHeart Tattoo — Local services in Chaska

The original jewelry for my recent eyebrow piercing fell out about 15 hours before I arrived at InkHeart. Another customer held the door for me and inside the studio is a very welcoming environment :). There wasn't an open appointment for me so I prepared to spend too much $ on replacement jewelry and insert it myself. Gretchen came to the counter when I was finished browsing and was very thoughtful on the sizes of jewelry I was getting, and the internal thread/screw in bar w a gem and a ball only cost $67! I found out Amost Famous overcharges and the service at Inkheart is outstanding 👏 I wasn't able to get the new jewelry in myself so we went back inside and waited a little while for Gretchen and another client to finish. Gretchen was super kind and helped me while meeting their next scheduled client, and the jewelry fits just right :). She communicated very well during the process and I felt friendly and safe- which definitely could have not been the case bcus I picked a semi-random tattoo/piercing shop on the route home to get new jewelry. This is my first tattoo, I grew up deathly afraid of needles (dad was a diabetic and I was always afraid of his insulin needles) but after losing my best little friend, I needed to do something to help with dealing with losing her.

I called to see what it would take to get a tattoo of her paw print and Mike took me with 15 min heads up and did an excellent job. He was extremely patient and helpful doing the sketch off of the clay print I had and did multiple revisions before it felt right. The shop was super clean, well lit and the rest of the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

When he finally got me in the chair I was admittedly nervous but he was super friendly and talked me through everything. It was about as painful as I had expected but he worked quickly and even suggested the shading vs the fill in all black like I had initially requested.

I think it turned out amazing and may have finally gotten over my fear to add another one in the future. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking, especially if it's your first one like...
