This is not a review about this specific store alone. This review is about GameStop as a whole. First off let me say that I have shopped at GameStop for the last 25 years and my last shopping experience will be the very last. I bought a switch online and within 2 weeks the console went defective and this GameStop store said that because the console was opened that they would not take responsibility for it. They told me that that is what they're insurance that they offer is for. But come on, only 2 weeks after buying it the thing goes defective and they won't take responsibility for it. Now I can understand if it was something that happened five or six months down the road, that would be something that the insurance would be for but not a system that is only 2 weeks old. Now what kind of horse s* is that. I know that Walmart gives you 90 days to return a system even if you just don't like the freaking thing. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI currently don't have internet at my house and won't for the next several months due to my internet company making major replacements and repairs to the wires in my neighborhood. I went here today and I was interested in a copy of Hogwarts legacy.
I asked the clerk if I needed the internet to play it since it said on the case internet required. She told me I only needed the internet to buy skins and the game was single player so I didn't need to worry.
So I purchased the game which is 75 dollars and went home and I was able to play 20 minutes before it stopped and a screen popped up saying I needed to download the day 1 patch in order to continue playing.
I was extremely upset and now I'm going to have to try and take my playstation 5 to a friend's house to download the game or I've basically wasted a lot of money. I really don't understand why a lot of GameStop employees don't seem to be very knowledgeable on the products their selling.
I've seen this problem at many GameStops not just this one. I'm pretty disappointed and I won't be coming back to this GameStop again...

Empoyee confirmed quickly and efficiently they were so that is why this review didn't earn only 1 star. When I got to your location I came in and notice a few people ahead of me so I browse your merch real quick and actually find a t shift I like. I grab that and stand in line and wait around 10-15 minutes before I notice the only cashier available had gotten something wrong with the customer at the fronts order. So another 5 or so minutes go by and the next people in line in front of me leave. It wasnt much longer before my patience wore thin even being the very next in line.
