I recently went to the Verizon store in Chehalis to replace my old iPhone which I have had through Verizon for the last five years. I would like to start by saying my low review has nothing to do with the store manager Angela who was extremely helpful And very friendly the morning I was attempting to get the phone. I had to return later in the day to complete the transaction, and that was then that I was matched with an associate Corey. This associate displayed horrible customer service. His attitude was very negative. He was in no way friendly. Every time I would ask a clarifying question, he would respond in a sarcastic, demeaning way as if I should already know the answers to my question. Just for one example, I asked him if he could please tell me again the total amount I would need to pay that day, his response was, “that’s not my job to remember, it is just my job to tell it to you once”. This went on and on for the entire hour I was trying to deal with him. I actually cried once with frustration at the whole situation while I was in a store. Which didn’t change his behavior. Based on the interaction I had with this associate, I would not do business with this store ever again. However the manager Angela and the other employee in the store were both very Pleasant and interacted well with the customers. Because of that I will return to the store, I will just never do business with associate Corey again. I have gone back and discussed this with the manager Angela, and it appears steps will be taken to correct...
Read moreHow to begin. First off writing this on behalf of my mother who went into this store for assistance with getting a new phone and questions pertaining to the increase in her billing.
First off the individual that help my mother proclaimed to be the manager. When my mom started to ask questions, the individual continued to interrupt her. This same individual then claimed after the "service fee" of $35 dollars was paid her bill would return to the 45 dollars she was paying. Well the bill my mom received was $98, this individual thought that 98 minus 35 was $45 needs help and they pulled out their phone calculator and discovered quite quickly they were incorrect but did not discuss it further.
After my mother told them what was told to her when she first purchased the new phone the "manager" than engaged another employee to intimate my mom and to team up against her about her questions regarding what was originally told to her.
After this team up and rudeness of this "manager", he got up and started helping another customer without even finishing helping my mom.
This store does not know customer service. They take advantage of their elderly customers and are plain rude and play intimidation tactics on elderly customers. If you can avoid this store...
Read moreI don't use them often, but when I do - I am SO glad they are there. I'm pretty tech-savvy, but I left the field before telephones became the appliance of the day. I spend faaaarrr too much time, messing with my phone, slowing it down even more or breaking stuff. Last time I stopped in, it was because I could not (for the LIFE of me) connect to any cell towers while away from home. And at home, I use the wireless feed. I should have known that there are a few steps you ALWAYS try... on a PC it's F1, ESC, Ctr Alt Del and power off. On a phone - restart it. Yep. That's all I had to do was restart the phone. But I spent three weeks trying to fix it myself while there was a Verizon store just a few miles from my house. The customer service representative was not snooty or aloof - he was friendly and since a power down was all it took to get my cell-phone up and working again, I have no idea of the "depth" of his knowledge. But it was better than MINE, and that's all I needed. Definitely worth a trip into the store if your phone is "stuck". They'll either fix it our show you the cost of buying new. And we ALL know there are constant and unending phone deals -...
