Tried emailing them on their site, but the email link is broken.
Pros and cons : First, this is for the Olympia store. I really like the store for it's massive selection. If I could only see what you have from the counter that is way to far forward to actually see the wall of weed behind it. Seems well staffed. Lots of variety in edibles. Didn't have the oils for the draw pen vap batteries like Green Lady has in abundance. Staff was willing to look into it.
This is the second time I've been in your store in Olympia. Each time I seem to get the same person helping me. While his 'Kirby Sales Dude' high energy talk -at you and -over you attitude might be what some people like, to help drive / sell them to make a choice maybe, idk(?) It doesn't make for a pleasant experience for me like at Green Lady or 420 where they ask you simple questions Listen and help you find out what you are looking for quick and mellow. You have a nice selection with some unique strains but each time I go in I just can't wait to leave.
I asked him about a menu and he basically spoke over me telling me that HE was the menu and they like to talk to the customers and that's how they run it as they used to be a dispensary (end of story). No thanks. Not everyone is into that. With such massive choice, if I can't see it behind the counter to see the strains at least have a printout or something so I can take my time to make a selection and not have to deal with using an aggressive sales dude bro. If I had a menu online to go through the massive selection you have and or a printed sheet I could go through and take my time to find the strain I want to try next and google it on Leafly, like I can do with pretty much all the other stores.
Each time I left empty handed, I saw some interesting strains I would have considered but I just wanted to leave as fast as possible.
Not trying to vilify any employee or the store just some friendly feedback, not sure how to say it lightly, pull it back a bit (a lot!) and listen. Let people SEE what you offer as a product, it's WAY too far back to see and the customer is at the mercy of the hyped up 'Kirby sales bro-dude' person navigating them to what they want to sell them, yuck no thanks.
And please get a MENU. Green Lady updates their menu daily on their website. This is my go-to spot for layout, selection of pen oils like PURE , mellow easy going knowledgeable no bs employees. Their layout is very close to the product wall so it's easier to see what they offer.
My guess is they don't keep track of their reviews or their website that has a broken contact form and a special 'menu' that isn't a menu. So I doubt anyone will get this feed back to make positive changes. But I can be hopeful and may return again, but for now I'll go to the better more...
Read moreDoc Croc is not on Gypsy Greens shelves. They are in Old Toby, Marijuana Mart, Bud Commander, 420 Capital, Olympia Weed Company, Marry Mart, Clear Choice Cannabis, Tacoma House of Cannabis, Diamond Green, The Herbal Gardens, The High Society, Hanks Dank, The Pot Zone, all the pot stores around the Puget Sound, across the Mountians in Eastern WA, they are in every Location BUT Gypsy Greens. This made me question the integrity of Gypsy and its buisness. I was wrong and cannot go into detail- tho i will say, Doc Croc does not produce Diamonds as the Leading companies do. I thought they were THE leading company and they simply cannot be if they do not produce diamonds because they are not "cost effective" Having the Leading Quality Product is what matters the most and Diamonds are in the Lead right now. I use them for Multiple Sclerosis, they help me cope with the issues I face Daily that people cannot see from looking at me. As you cannot tell I am disabled. In short, Gypsy Greens offers a variety of Diamonds and brands that carry them. They also made the place bigger, which was a big thing for me as they have seen me many times, walk in, and walk back out because I cannot be in that small of a place with that many people. There is 1 thing. Instead of lowering the stars or complaining, i will just say it as a tip... You guys have 3 or so registers, and Marijuana Mart has 1. But if you both have the same amount of people, Mmj Mart BLOWS through them with smiles quicker than I ever have seen at Gypsy where as if Gypsy has a huge crowd, the smiles are gone, the air is thick and you guys know this... People want to leave and do, because we get rushed out the door. Please please fix this. The rope did not work as well as we all hoped it to. The solution is what Marijuana Mart works well, please listen- So all the tenders are helping customers, except 1, this 1 budtender is at the register, while the customers are all over the place (your product is too so its impornt that this is ok) finding product, and when they finish, they go to the end and check out with the 1 budtender. This stops â the wait in line because everyone is different with different needs and times they spend talking differ also, u want to be able to have that flexibility to take ur time with each customer, not having a 123 register set up would make your store so much better. 1 register at the end and the ONLY LINE IS A CHECKOUT LINE WHICH PEOPLE ARE READY TO GO & NOT READY TO TALK and PICK OUT ITEMS. While waiting in line they would have already got what they need and wont take long to checkout. THIS TAKES THE WAIT OUT BY 10 FULL AND ITS SO MUCH NICER. Please let me know if you would like me to remove any info or change the review as i do NOT want to piss you guys off. This store is a đ5 star stoređwith đ10...
Read moreOne star only because I can't give zero. This place sucks, which I never thought I could say about a weed shop so much, but this place even surprised me with the way they operate. Most products you can't see from behind the counter, bags are turned backwards so you can't see them. When you ask to look at some they are rude and don't like to show you all of your options. I asked to see some different strains from one specific grower and the customer service rep responded with " ALL of them??!" Like she didn't want to let us see the products her response was "they all look pretty much the same" which they clearly don't know marijuana if they think "they all look the same". They make you wait in line to even see what products, they won't let you browse the store, but then they seem like they're trying to rush you to make a decision when you finally are able to look at the product, which you don't even get to see all of.......it's a sadly ran store and not much selection....I think the only reason they won an award for their county was because they're like the only weed shop in this town. Not worth the time and effort, I'd rather go back to my old time...
