Hi. the only reason I'm writing a review is so I can track down the owner of the store. I've never done this before but I called in to talk to the manager to mention someone that was rude and according to the phone call that person was the manager. I went in there for on Amazon drop off like we do so much. It must be very frustrating to deal with that department a lot but walking and having My head down in my phone I went directly to where the drop off has been for the past several months but I did notice there was no line. My mistake asking if that was still the line.. the manager told me that if I would have been looking for the sign I would have seen where it was at. Not looking for trouble but I thought that was very rude and it caught me off guard. When the drop off area changes ever so often I think people are confused and a lot of times you don't look for a side you just go where you assume. We have fast paced lives haha. On my way out there was an older gentleman with a big box and I noticed it said Amazon on it and he was headed exactly the direction I went because he too assumed it was in the same spot. I let him know that he had to go around or someone might be upset. I do not think a manager of a store should treat people that way and I wasn't even in there coming with a fight. Pretty rare you see that coming from a manager. Thank you. Chehalis...
Read moreTypically, I like going to staples. But the last few times I've gone in there, the service has been horrible. I had to wait 20 mins for a worker to help me because they were out of boxes on the shelf, but I could see them on top. Then had to wait 10 minutes for them to get the ladder. What I noticed is that he only took down the boxes I needed, instead of refilling the shelf at the same time. Meaning the next person would have to go through the same wait. Then this morning, my lazy boy office chair I bought last year broke. I called Staples, told them what happened. Worker asked me if I bought a square trade warranty, I said no, the chair had a warranty. Worker told me I should have bought a square trade warranty. I asked to speak to a manager. She sighed and said just a minute. Manager picks up annoyed. I told him the situation, he asked me if I bought the square trade warranty. I told him no, the chair has a warranty. He told me that the chair wouldn't be covered. I asked if he was sure. He sighed at me and said hold. 3 minutes later he gets back on the phone and tells me that the Lazy Boy chairs had a 10 year warranty, gave me a number to call and hung up. Staples just lost my business and more importantly, my company's business. This kind of service, is why communities stop...
Read moreI came in today, to return something using UPS, however I had a QR code return, NOT a pre-addressed paid for label. I appreciate the sales associate who saw me coming in to grab a cart and saw the QR code print out for my return (microwave). She/they told me they didn't accept that kind of return, I then started to argue, saying, I've done it before, pointing to where the UPS returns were. She/they then said, yes but they have to be an addressed label (not sure if correct wordage). I stood there, thought about it, remembered what I had brought back...She/they were right. I felt like a dumbass.
I was upset with myself and not the store. I had already driven a half hour to get there, and it would have been another 45 mins to get to the correct place. And then I would have to drive an hour back just to get home. I wasn't about to do that, so I nopped to her/theirs advice for the closest location of a UPS QR code store.
This is a UPS return store, HOWEVER, you have to have a label already from the people that you are returning the merchandise too :) I hope that helps out people out there! I've seen a review where someone wasn't very clear.
And thank you for your help, Staples associate...I wasn't mad at you, I was...
