I tried to shop here and buy a few things for our home when my wife and I entered the store we were asked if we had a mask for our face we politely told the woman at the door that we had medical conditions and could not wear one. To that she huffed and walked away. We continued to shop for a few minutes when we were accosted by the owner who confronted us yet again demanding we don a mask. We again politely told her that we could not, to which she replied rudely then you must leave my store. We said ok and headed to the door, as we left she yelled after us, completely unprovoked, “and don’t come back” we were completely taken aback by her treatment of us and we would encourage anyone else to shop elsewhere.    Read moreI came to donate clothes and a women employee came out and started screaming across the parking lot at me telling me this isn’t a public dumpster… I didn’t know it was a dumpster I thought it was their donation bin since it had clothes and shoes in it and there was no sign that said otherwise. While she was screaming at me she then started saying they aren’t taking donations right now which is weird because I work right next to it and see people donating every day. Very rude and if I could give no star I would. Maybe approach your customers different next time seems like you guys have a lot of bad reviews I hope this place gets shut down especially if they’re working with elderly…is that how you talk to them as...
   Read moreA thrift store, or second hand store, is a charitable enterprise falling under certain tax codes with certain rules and regulations. Now since everything is donated to the store and there are no taxes only payment for employees who are mainly volunteers and payment for the upkeeping electricity and all that stuff for the business. It seems unfair to me that a charitable Enterprise would be uncharitable by charging 30 some bucks for a pair of boots that were donated for free that a man could really use who is poor! I pointed this out to them and they would not budge with the price.
It is quite a shame...
