I don't like to write reviews however tonight's highly advertised anniversary event was horrible. We let the not having our drinks on tap and telling us 20 minutes after we had put our order in that you also ran out of the appetizer go. Recommending the advertised 50 cent wings in place of what you ran out of yet charged us full price on the wings (which we inquired about when we first got there but was told the special didn't apply to us) we let that go. The not telling us the specials of the night was fine too, no biggie. Waiting 20 minutes for our drinks to come out and having to ask another waitress for condiments since our waitress never came back was even pretty annoying but again fine.(They weren't even busy!!!) What sealed the deal was receiving cold food that didn't even taste good. The fried chicken dish had zero flavor that ketchup and maple syrup couldn't even fix. The beans tasted as if they came out of a can and was left in the fridge. The dish was hardly touched and the waitress could tell something was wrong. The burger was burnt when asked for medium but yet cold when it came out. (How does that even happen????) The fries were also cold. It seemed as though our food sat in the back for a good while. We were charged for the app they didnt even have that we didnt get. Such a waste of money. Oh and if you go during this anniversary special... The highly advertised mystery bag that everyone that dines gets to pick from... we had to ask for it and only one of us got to pick from it. Others who came in and ate didn't get to do this so be sure to ask for it before you leave if you decide to go. I would not recommend wasting money on this place. Not...

I wish I could give this place a better review because we came here to celebrate our wedding dinner, but the experience was extremely disappointing.

We made a reservation for 20 people and clearly communicated in advance that we would be paying separately. We also chose the $65 per person dinner package, which included a starter, entrée, and dessert. The restaurant offered us a kids menu for the five children in our group, which we accepted because it made more sense for their age—they ordered chicken fingers, cheeseburgers, and fries.

When the bill came, we were shocked to find it was over $2,000. Most of the kids were still charged the full $65 package price plus gratuity and tax, even though they did not receive starters, entrées, or desserts. Only two of the children were charged correctly at the kids’ menu price. This made no sense and felt incredibly unfair.

When we questioned the charges, the manager, Angel, immediately became defensive and told us, “If you don’t pay, I’ll have to call somebody,” which was insulting and unnecessary. We were never refusing to pay—we were simply asking for an explanation.

This was supposed to be a joyful wedding celebration, but the way the situation was handled left a bad taste in everyone’s mouth. Poor communication, inconsistent billing, and unprofessional customer service made for an experience I would never recommend, especially for anyone planning a special occasion or coming here...

This place has flavorless, expensive food. I got a crab cake on a salad. The arugula in my salad was yellow and smashed into the bowl as though there were a stack of bowls premade in the fridge for a week. The ARUGULA had no flavor. It was supposed to come with feta but they put blue cheese on it (the only horrible taste the whole dish had). It was an apple salad and the apples were soft as though they had been boiled or rehydrated or something. The candied nuts were mushy (again confirming my suspicion it’s premade in the fridge for the week). The crab cake somehow tasted like nothing (not even crab). My dad’s risotto had no seasoning at all so it was a blob of mush at the bottom of his plate. My moms ribs came out on this tiny plate with the ribs stacked on top of all the fries to the point where she couldn’t get them without eating half a rack of ribs. I’ve had left overs that friends shared with me and it was the same flavorless mush that I experienced at the restaurant. It’s obvious this chef does not seek good ingredients nor do they know how to season food.

The only reason it has a good rating is the atmosphere is nice. I recommend this as a good bar. Great service and atmosphere, just...

First time here and we will most definitely be back. We were greeted immediately upon arrival and seated within 2 minutes. The atmosphere was extremely friendly and relaxing . We are seated in an open space next to the outside patio where there was live music. Traditionally we don’t like live music while dining, however this guy was very good and the sound level was low. Perfect! As for the food. I would rate a 10 out of 10 . The Pierogis were absolutely amazing . Covered in bacon pieces and onions! Perfection. As for the filet mignon and the ribs I felt like I was back home at my mother’s . They were both cooked to perfection and tasted amazing! Best meal in awhile and we frequent restaurants every week. Well done to the chef and staff

My husband and I went to Robert’s Block for the first time last night to celebrate my birthday. It was an absolutely fabulous experience. The atmosphere is fun and lively without being too loud. Service was quick and our server was so so friendly. I wish I remember his name, but he said “awesome sauce” at least two dozen times and I loved him for it. I had the duck and it was mind blowing. My husband got the pork chop and loved it. Since it was my birthday, the waiter brought out some complimentary ice cream and sang to me (discreetly, not like Applebees) and it was so sweet. We will absolutely be returning again. It was perfect.

A lovely location with outdoor & indoor service along the Schuylkill River near Manayunk Philadelphia. When the weather is nice, I encourage you to get an outside table and bring the kids. There's a large area adjacent for Cornhole, and other games we all love. You can order your beer and wine from a kiosk near your table. A wide variety of food for all tastes and appetites. Plenty of Free parking and a paved trail along the River is part of the complex. Want to stay the night? Residence Inn is attached. Regal Movie theater and Main Street Night life is a short walk across the bridge by the Hotel.
