I do not recommend. Today I went in to buy junk silver/gold as usual. They had a silver half, silver dime, and two gold dollars. One $1 piece and one $2.50 piece. Two ladies I have never seen were running the store and the front register. I asked them how much they wanted, so they proceeded to weigh and make calculations. I was told a price on both silver pieces, so I had her set them to the side for me to purchase. For the gold pieces, they did the same but did not know how much gold they had. They weighed and ran numbers. Gave me a price of $387 for both and I agreed. One of them tells me "let me be sure" and starts looking through her phone. I sat down and waited for 10-15 minutes. She proceeds to tell me that they now cost $500. I asked why, and how much each would cost. She proceeds to do the same, and after 20 minutes nothing. I asked her a couple times and she finally makes a call. I agreed to purchase a gold piece and the two silver pieces. I went to make my purchase, and all of a sudden it's card only due to "company policies". I've been a customer for a year now, and have always bought all the junk coins they had in the show case. All my purchases have always been card and tax free. I recently made a purchase not even 5 days before today. This also applies to every other coin dealer. I have always paid with card. It's a shame, but it is what it is. This was by far my favorite store to come to for all their pieces. The two ladies were very unprofessional and were unknowledgeable. Also eating on the show room floor in front of everyone laughing and joking the whole time. I waited 30-40 minutes all for nothing. To all who helped me in the past, I want to say thank you. It has been a pleasure doing business. Unfortunately I will not be coming...
Read moreI was searching everywhere in Norfolk for a place that sold simple Silver Eagle coins. After calling nearly ten other places, I was frustrated; everyone only stocked the "bigger stuff." Then I spotted this store on Google Maps and knew they had what I needed, despite the hour-long drive from my home near the military base. I hopped in my car, rolling all the windows down, feeling pumped and ready for the open road. I drove fast under the blue sky and past gorgeous tall green trees, looking toward the horizon and hoping my "magical" coins would finally be waiting. At this point, I was honestly starting to feel hopeless, but I was determined and kept myself rest assured, no matter what, that I would get those coins. I pulled up, parked, and walked in. The atmosphere was immediately clean, classic, and welcoming, giving off a pleasant, almost retro '70s vibe. I asked the lady for the coins, received a fair price, inspected them, and was quickly checked out. The whole time, the cutest cat was sitting in the back, watching me make my long-awaited purchase! The moment I got the coins felt incredible. They didn't just toss them into a plastic bag; they took the time to place them in a crisp, yellow money envelope—the kind you get when cashing a paycheck. I felt completely well-treated and valued. The kind words and good wishes sealed the experience as I exited the timeless store, giving a nod to the cat, which is strange because I normally despise cats. Sitting in my car, holding one of the coins, I felt a sense of pride. This wasn't just a good day; it was a great day. I told them I'd be back, and rest assured, I absolutely will. If you need gold or silver, come here. Don't waste your time elsewhere—you...
Read moreI came across this pawn shop on my way to the doctors. I was so elated to find a pawn shop actually opened for business. I used to shop at Cash Money Pawn for years. I had to immediately stop because of their attitude towards customers and downright "rude". They assume everyone who shops there is on drugs or drunk. I overheard a conversation and it was very disheartening. I said to myself no way will I spend another dollar here.
Once I got home from the doctors I told my fiance about VA. Premium Pawn, he said where are they? I gave him some other places around this pawn shop. I was so elated to know that I could shop for one of a kind items. I love shopping at pawn shops. He visited this location and of course bought some things secretly. The staff here are amazing, very friendly and very knowledgeable.
They worked with him to put things on a lay away plan. He came home one day and said I want you to have something. I kinda looked at him and said okay what is it and why? He gave me a beautiful bag with 2 boxes in it. I looked at him and said oh no you didn't. He said yes I did because I want you to rebuild what was stolen from you. I said that was in the past. He didn't want to hear it. I opened both boxes and they were 2 beautiful rings that fit perfectly.
If there were more than a 5 star rating, my rating of this pawn shop would be a (Trillion) stars.💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫💫⭐⭐⭐⭐✨✨✨✨✨💯
Thank You 💕 so much to the awesome staff . Will definitely recommend to others and will also keep shopping here.
Check it out, make sure your library card hasn't expired (lol). You will fall in love with this pawn shop.
Again thank you for being a customer friendly business.
