Honestly, this was the worst experience I’ve had at a Dairy Queen. I worked at a couple locations in the Hampton roads area under the area manager Matt. But as a customer, this visit takes the cake.
Dairy Queen as a whole is clearly going downhill. Prices are up, quality and service are down. I got a 6piece honey bbq chicken strip basket with large cheese curds. My toast had the SMALLEST amount of butter. It was so dry. I got fries in my basket which tells me they cleaned half of the hold station and just mixed the chicken strips together with the old fries.
Can’t upgrade drinks to blizzards? Absolutely ridiculous. Judy Lynn Craig Dairy Queens would never stoop to that level.
The stackable burgers are a joke. They took away the bigger buns and 1/4 lb Patties which used to make the old “grill burger” so juicy and tender. Now they’re tiny AND more expensive.
And to top it all off, the customer service wasn’t even good. The employees did not deliver service with a smile, nor when I finished ordering did they ask me if I wanted to round my order up for CHKD.
None the less, what used to be my favorite place in the world, I will not be returning. Not that it’s going to break your hearts. But Dairy Queen’s in general and in the 7 cities should be disappointed...
Read moreI'm give this DQ only two stars because the blizzard was actually decent. The menu prices are way over priced, I paid $10 just for two SMALL butterfinger blizzards with pineapple, a little dramatic. I pull up to the window and was offered tops and a drink carrier. Only needed tops, however; one of the female workers working the register started gossiping at the window about me. When I asked for the other female coworker who was working the window to fix my tops since she clearly didn't put them on all the way and ice cream was overflowing the SMALL cup, I was given an attitude. Then she doesn't even fix the top correctly for the second time nor offers a new cup or anything. So I just asked for napkins to clean up the mess and was handed three thin napkins and the worker shut the window on me before I could ask for more. I didn't appreciate the attitude and lack of respect. Unfortunately the DQ on victory crossing is closed and I had to deal with this branch. Wish I would have gotten names to call the...
Read moreBLIZZARDS ARE FOOD, RIGHT!!!!!! Hubby and I enjoyed a Friday night mini date for after dinner BLIZZARDS. There is just nothing like this particular ice cream treat! I had a small Heath and he had a small Butterfinger. We placed our order at the drive through. It was uncomplicated. The window person took our order with none of the usual "can you hear me now" interaction at the speaker of drive throughs. We did not have a long wait. We drove up and paid. Within seconds, our Blizzards were prepared, turned upside down and handed to us. The staff was courteous and friendly. They were engaged and engaging in our interactions. We were given napkinsnand spoons without having to request. As we sat in the parking lot partaking of our treat, a family was enjoying the outside seating. Several people were in and out with take-out orders. The drive through was steady, but never backed up. Summer's coming now you know where to come for yummy...
