I had a very good experience at my local Kohl's. The associates were all very nice and pleasant once I got into the store walking around. I wasn't greeted once I walked in the door but that's fine because it's not like it's a Walmart having a greeter. I was surprised to get help from associates that did not work in the department where the coffee makers are located. I wish I could remember her name. She went above and beyond. I even had a pleasant experience with another young woman in the shoe department. Last but not least the associate who rung up my purchases name Glenn was very informative about the discounts that are available to seniors and military families! I remembered Glenn's name because after all of the great information he told me I asked him to write down his name on my receipt. I usually don't have time to do this but after speaking with him I wanted to make sure I did a review and give him a quick "shout out". I have been going to this Kohl's since it opened up in Chesapeake. I really wish that Kohl's would consider bringing back the Kohl's Cash where you could use it any time! It's unfortunate that once you spend your money they think that you can just turn right around and come back to spend $10 or have ever much a person accumulates in Kohl's Cash in just a few days. The 10 days to use is not long enough! It's called a RECESSION for a reason! I have lost so much of my Kohl's Cash because of this rule they thought would be good for them instead of their customers. I should be able to spend my Kohl's Cash whenever I decide to come back and spend it. Hopefully, the office will see this comment and reconsider...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI experienced discrimination at this location, not sure if it was happening at all of the locations or not. I went into the store to get a pair of Lee jeans. That is pretty much my favorite brand. I wear a 20W and usually find them them in the woman section but couldn't find any this past sunday. I went into the regular size area and found 2 pairs of 20W. They were all marked $ 48.00. The sign said that all bootleg & straight leg jeans that were marked $ 48.00 were on sale for $ 34.99. I went to the checkout and they rang up $ 41.99. I paid for the 2 pair I got and then went back to the display. I found an associate that worked that area and told her that I just paid $ 41.99 for the jeans that were advertised for $34.99. She said that they are Woman's size and did not fall into the sale price. So the regular price on the regular sizes were $ 48.00 and the regular price on the woman's size was $ 48.00. So if the regular price is the same on both, then why is the the sale price different??? You are changing me more because I'm large??? Discrimination at it's best!!! I am closing my account at Kohl's!! I know they don't care,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had just come from the Pembroke location where I had picked up a curtain but they only had one panel. This Chesapeake location had the curtain that I had come to purchase but the lady at the register acted a little bothered because I had asked her if she could look up my Kohl's charge. She acted a little bothered again when I asked her if she could combine my receipts for me to get the $10 Kohl's cash. (The cashier at the Pembroke location had told me, "Don't forget to have them combine your receipts for your Kohl's cash when you make your purchase at the other location.") The cashier at the Chesapeake store never asked about my rewards and she never said thank you, have a good day or anything. She did not tell me about the survey but I understand why. It's a shame because she obviously has been there awhile because she had all kinds of pins on her lanyard. She was a little older, maybe around my age (58), so she should know what good customer service is and what it is not. I did give the store two stars because, like most if not all Kohl's stores, it was clean, organized and the displays we're...
