The only good part about this buffet is that the beverage is included in the price with the lunch buffet. On our visit, May 6th 2016, every single dish on the buffet was not being held to a safe food temperature...but assuming we got there at 11:30 we assumed it hadn't been sitting there for hours at that temperature which at least made it safe to eat. Everything on our plates was room temperature and that is no exaggeration whatsoever. The buffet is VERY small, with a limited amount to choose from..what made this worse was the fact that almost every dish that had meat in it was covered i n the same sauce, which was a oddly sour, kinda sweet, twangy, water thin sauce. There was no soup on the buffet which was a bummer & the lomein was so gummy and dry it was hard to get any on your plate. The "dessert" was a peach cobbler that was super bitter and the crust on it was salty....I'm assuming that was a dessert. Also, we didn't notice any overly friendly, welcoming attention from the owners like a lot of these other reviews suggest. Should have taken a hint from the fact that there were only 2 other tables of people at 11:30 that this was probably not all that great. The restrooms were filthy and smelled like someone had used the trashcan for a bowel movement, it was that strong. We aren't picky people at all, but the 3 of us that ate there couldn't come up with one good thing about this place other than the drink being included in the buffet cost. Would...
Read moreOrdered Chicken with Garlic Sauce along with general chos chicken. Waitress bought out fried wontons but had to ask for duck sauce, she returned with a bottle that was almost empty, asked if soup came with meal, her answer was no, extra charge. Chicken and garlic arrived, I was in complete shock, a plate loaded with sliced onions and tiny pieces of chicken in a brown sauce, where the fresh vegetables were remains a mystery, no carrots, no snowpeas, no broccoli , just about a trillion sliced cooked onions. I asked her " is this chicken and garlic, she replied yes, and walked away. I called her over and asked her to take it away, this is not Chicken and garlic sauce, she asked if i wanted something else but i declined, she took it back into the kitchen and in Chinese started yelling either at the cook or was complaining about me. The General Chos Chicken was average, no complaints. Although the establishment was clean, it had an abundance of supplies stored on tables and just gave a negative atmosphere to dine in. I paid my check and left a tip, I will not...
Read moreOkay, went there with my husband for lunch (Only because Buffet City was closed). When we walked in, there was nobody to seat us for a while. We just stood there wondering if it was even open. Finally a young lady came out and gave us a table. We looked over the menu, there weren't a lot of options for lunch time, and the menu also didn't have descriptions of anything. When we ordered, we weren't allowed to alter our meal at all. So we settled on something, and the food didn't take long to come out. The food is a hit or miss, I LOVED the fried rice, my husband didn't care for it. The egg drop soup was good, but the little chips you get with it made my stomach ache because they were so oily. Only giving two stars because the waitress was great, and the rice was amazing. The restaurant seemed pretty clean for the most part. Everything else, didn't care for, and we probably...
