I’ve been a client of Brians for a little over a year now and realizing that I’ve never left a review. I really don’t know where to start aside from the fact that Brian’s Guitars is THE best shop in the world.

The staff is just outright killer. I’ve mainly dealt with Trevor and Dan, each time is better than the last. Not only do these guys absolutely know their stuff, but they are great dudes that genuinely want to get to know you and make sure you have the best instrument for you. Frank handles set ups for the shop, he’s done everything for me from acoustic set ups/repairs to drop d# with .80 strings on a 7 string. Honest, transparent, affordable, and knocks it out of the park every time. Brian’s Guitars has also done a great job at establishing a phenomenal community over on discord, I encourage anyone and everyone to jump in and make some friends, great group of dudes.

Walking into the shop is a perfect example of ā€œkid in a candy storeā€ for any guitar player. From the best PRS collection outside of Maryland to jaw dropping runs from Mayones and the like, the consistently updating inventory is just next level. Stopping in to grab your dream guitar, start your search, or even just to say hi, is consistently a five star experience.

What a great shop this is. I decided to finally treat myself to a new guitar after years playing used and abused ones… Having heard good things about Brian’s, I drove an hour from home to get there. I arrived at 3:15 on Father’s Day, knowing they closed at 4.

Trevor patiently greeted me, answered my questions, helped me find my way around, and left me to try out a bunch of guitars. He mentioned he was manning the place on his own, on account of his not being a father on Father’s Day.

While I was doing my ā€œspeed datesā€ with the guitars, Trevor helped a couple other folks who stopped in. He checked in with me a few times in between helping others, but also gave me plenty of space to explore.

When I finally found The One, I waited for him to finish up a transaction with the only other guy left in the store, and then I noticed it was 4:15. If I hadn’t mentioned it, I don’t think Trevor would have. He literally could not have cared less about staying past closing time — he just wanted to make sure everyone got what they wanted. Well, I did!

Despite the clear fact that this shop also caters to high-end guitar enthusiasts, as an amateur on a budget, I was made to feel like I belonged there from the start. Thanks, Trevor! That’s...

I’ve been shopping here for a few years, and the staff has always been friendly and very supportive. They’re willing to talk through everything you might be interested in, make suggestions, and have no problem with you spending an entire afternoon trying things out, even if you don’t end up buying anything. They even make themselves available through social media, so if you have a late night question, someone is always available to answer. The store itself has guitars ranging from traditional to modern, so everyone can find something they’d like whether that’s a vintage spec strat, or a 7 string djent machine. While they definitely cater to the high end market, there are plenty of affordable models as well. In fact, they price used instruments very reasonably, so it may just be the store to go to if you want something like a core PRS or Mayones but don’t want to spend $5000+. You can also shop confidently, as their in house luthier always makes sure everything is in tip top shape, and will always make it right if something is not up to snuff. Finally, it’s just a fun place to go, talk with the staff and other patrons, and try out guitars. They always make new guitar day special for me, and I’m sure they will...

I've been playing guitar for the last twenty years, have owned more than my fair share, and been to stores in major cities all over the country (and beyond, occasionally). Brian's Guitars stands out amongst them all; every guitar I've picked up, or even glanced at in the store could easily be someone's 'forever' guitar. I intend to keep the Anderson Icon Classic and PRS Paul's Guitar I picked up there for life (see attached photos). The staff cannot be beat, either: they are genuinely helpful while maintaining a zero-pressure environment. They have an impressive breadth of knowledge; if it's related to a guitar, or anything that you can plug one into, you can bet they have the experience with it, right down to the best strings. I showed up with a vague idea of what I wanted, and within thirteen minutes Pat, one of their salesmen, set me up with four different guitars that blew me away. Overall, if you're in the market for a new guitar that is really what you've always been looking for, want to check out a stunning collection of top-of-the-line amplifiers, or even are looking for that one specific pedal you can never find... do yourself a favor and make this your first stop.

If you are looking for a repair or set-up, look no further! I purchased a dean dimebag darrell primal concrete sledge. It is a limited of 333 made, and was never played or unwrapped! When I received it, the dowel for the floyd was damaged along with some paint that got pulled up around it. My heart sunk! I knew the chances of finding another in new condition for the price I paid was slim to none! I called a few luthiers, and they highly recommend Frank and said he could fix it and that he was the best around!....and they were right! He fixed it and it looks like nothing ever happened! It's unbelievable! He kept me updated on progress, made sure he found the exact color paint. He is a true professional and master at what he does! I will only be taking my guitars to Frank from now on! If you need your guitar fixed or set up, look no further! Thanks again Frank! šŸ¤˜šŸ»šŸ¤˜šŸ»šŸ¤˜šŸ»

Just purchased a Nash Tele from Brian’s. Graham was awesome and quite patient as I hemmed and hawed, not about the guitar but about how I would explain this to my wife! It’s a Nash, so knowing what I was getting, and living out of CT instead of driving hours to play it I trusted ordering the axe over the phone. The guitar was in my hand the next day, beautifully packed and set up. They even tossed in a braided cable and some swag! Do not hesitate to do business with Brian’s. True professionals. Courteous, friendly and very knowledgeable. Thanks Graham! This axe is so damn sweet, and hey, my wife wasn’t ticked off… She digs it!
