The Subway in Cheshire, CT in the Stop and shop plaza has fallen off of its game in the last 10 years or so. You used to be able to go in and be out quickly even with a long line at lunchtime. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Plus, it was obvious that they got along very well and my sandwiches were always delicious even when I would come in in the morning to get my breakfast sandwich and there was only one employee working at the time, I would receive top notch service with a smile No matter which girl it was. These days my sandwiches are never right even when I’m standing right there all they make them. The cashier is usually rude and the atmosphere is totally different. It doesn’t seem like the people enjoy their jobs very much as they did in the past They take it out on the customers. Please try to find a staff like you had 10 years ago or more your business would probably If you did that. surely won’t be able to find the same team again, but you can always try to find one with the same type of Customer Service and camaraderie. Then I ordered my food and it came to $15 for a large sub with a soda and a drink and I asked them why I didn't get the value price and she said they don't offer it. Then an Amazon customer walked in and wanted to know why he was charged for 3 meats when he only got one and they told him price is what it is. I told them they should learn the prices and be better customer service reps in this work atmosphere and that I was going to leave a bad review and her response was go ahead I'll still have a job in the morning I asked her what her name was she spelled it and said it and both times I didnt understand what she said. I have been going there for 5 years and my company gets all of our sandwiches from them because they take care of us, place is clean, staff is always on point. I am sad to say that I can no longer go there as Jim and his staff have left after the establishment was sold and new management took over that this shop has gone down hill. I gave it a few months and still went there but between the place being out of everything from Bread, to Cookies, to drinks and the place was kept clean as it was prior I have moved to a new location.
