I always shop at Cavenders and in general have always had good experiences, but today January 26th at 2:45pm unfortunately wasn't the case. I called in advance for the work boots I needed, when I arrived at the store the boots were waiting for me at the checkout. I noticed a group of young employees standing in the middle of the store chatting instead of helping customers such as myself. I stood on the checkout for a couple minutes before being acknowledged. A young blond lady came to check me out, I asked for a bag to put the boots on since they were a present she responded they don't have bags big enough which you may think is odd since a boot store should have bags big enough to carry boots. On the other hand, the younger team members were excellent—especially Finn, who went above and beyond to help us. He made sure we found the right boots and sizes, and even took the time to thank us and say goodbye on the way out. His hospitality and customer service were outstanding.
I spent over $700 during this visit, but I won’t be spending it here again. Whether you’re spending $1 or $700, every customer should feel welcomed and respected. Sadly, the poor attitude of the manager completely overshadowed what could have been a great experience. September 10...
