On 9/4/16 I visited the Fudge Pot store to purchase Chocolate covered strawberries and a taffy apple and a few other sweets. I was charged $224 for my purchase when my purchase amount should have been only $22.40. The employee at the store was furious with me stating he had made a mistake on the amount I was charged due to the keys getting stuck on the credit card machine and that he had credited the amount back. I always get an alert on my phone from chase on what I purchase seconds later. The employee wasn't going to tell me about the mistake he had made unless I mentioned the error he had made to him, as he was furious with me I explained to the employee that he had no reason to be upset at all being that I was the customer purchasing from them and all I wanted was to be credited back the difference. The employee explained that I was credited so I explained to the employee that I was going to call chase due to not receiving a credit alert on my phone. He said go ahead I did credit you back with no receipt showing the adjustment made to credit the difference back to my account. I left the store called Chase and per Chase no credit was made back into my account. So I proceeded to go back into the store to speak to the employee and explained to the employee that I had Chase on the line and they did not see a credit posted to my account. Employee got Furious again and said listen! Listen! and grabbed his hair with anger I did credit you back. Still I wasn't understanding why he was so furious at me not being professional at all! When I was calm on the phone with Chase explaining to me that he had not credited the difference back to my account. As I was on the phone chase put in a claim for me and will credit the amount for me on the difference that I was over charged. My point to this explanation is that Fudge Pot needs to talk to the Employees and the Manager in charge of handling the situation and train them to talk and treat customers in a professional manner. I asked who is the Manager here to help me with the situation at hand the Manager replied I am what can I help you with when at all times during the situation four employees were standing there listening to the problem including the Manager that did nothing at all to handle the situation at hand. Instead she didn't even care to help when I asked who is the Manager. Very unprofessional. I am still waiting on my credit. You would think Fudge Pot would treat customers in a professional way being that they always have high traffic of customers in and out daily. I visited when in the area and purchased from them all the time. I will not go to Fudge Pot ever again!!!!!!!! Employee who over charged the purchase and the Manager were very rude and very disrespectful.
as you can see below Fudge Pot Debit and prior to that a Debit from a store I visited the same day. There is no credit at all from Fudge Pot on my account!!!!!

Read moreWell I have not been here for a while and I used to live just a few apartments away from this fudge/candy shop. My suggestion is you select some chocolate covered strawberries, pick out a few chocolates with caramel and nut toffees and of course don't forget the FUDGE. IT'S OUTSTANDING and this wonderful candy store is known for its fudge and creative flair. You can get home made chocolates that are designed as airplanes, cars and chocolate edible boxes all hand crafted by artisans. They even have gigantic heart shaped lollipops that you can use for parties or photo shoots for special occasions. The customer service here is excellent and I always came here to buy special candies for my clients or friends as a thank you gift. I am so happy I stopped by here this evening just to say hello to the warm staff members who always remember you and I almost killed off all my vanilla, peanut butter fudge. This place was always a favorite of mine ever since I was a six year old child and the neighborhood has changed a lot but not the quality or service you receive here. You have to try the home made chocolate strawberries and chocolate frozen bananas! Don't worry about calories ---you can burn them off later by walking around this great neighborhood on Wells Street!!!! Oh and just on a side note I was literally salivating for a caramel and nut covered taffy apple. That taffy apple is NEXT on my list!!! It's a bit early for Halloween but apples are good for...
Read moreI was walking in to get maybe one or two pieces of chocolate that was it just for research purposes mine you .The ladies had great customer service. I felt like I was going into a miniature Willy Wonka chocolate factory. They had such a large variety of things that you can get I felt overwhelmed.. then but that didn’t stop me to get some of the most decadent thickly covered chocolatey morsels. I got chocolate covered pretzels, chocolate, covered strawberries, chocolate, covered toffee, almond bark and Chocolate covered Oreos. As soon as I picked up anything, my fingertips started, melting the chocolate.. I have found my place for my cheat treat from my diet. Smell of chocolate in the air, but of course I love this place. This may have been my first time here, but it will not be my last. I don’t think a wheelchair would fit in here through the door.. it is now it is not a sit down place, but I don’t think I would bring my little kids in here just that you would probably end up buying more than you intended. It was 7 pm when I went to the place there was no parking on the...
