Lincoln Park North Avenue Beach South Volleyball Courts — Local services in Chicago

Well let me start with saying North Avenue Beach is amazing. I know a let of people watch the news and more all the bad stuff about it but that's simply not always the case. With me being a photographer I tend to get jobs for different events in that area and I always enjoy the beach area. Now the problem that I can complain about is the parking situation. That parking can be hell on wheels if you are going there to watch or catch an event. Example, this past weekend I went there for the Air and Water show and the parking situation was complete hell. With an event like the Air and Water that brings so many people and tourists you kind of expect things to be a bit crazy or out of control, but this 2023 Air and Water show was insane when it came to the traffic and finding parking. Lake Shore Drive was jammed up to the point of stop and go traffic. Getting off at Fullerton was total madness and the parking was $70 if you could even get in the lot. It was hundreds if not thousands of people down there to see the Air and Water. North Avenue Beach is definitely nice but you simply have to check the event schedule to make sure nothing major is going on in Chicago, otherwise you get that old...

My favorite beach in Chicago , it offers great views , live music,food and drinks at the Castaways restaurant (the boat ) parking is very conveniently located right next to beach.
