I have had the absolute honor of working with Rochelle Redell as my Miele showroom partner at the merchandise Mart since 2020. She has been an invaluable asset in both growing my business, as well as providing top-notch customer service and product support to me and my clientele. Rochelle's extensive knowledge of the brand and dedication to her craft is unmatched in the field. I have been in this business for almost 20 years and cannot think of a single brand representative who comes even close to being as helpful or knowledgeable as Rochelle. In the rare cases that she does not have the answer I can count on her to get to the bottom of it using every resource at her disposal. The phrase “I don’t know” is not part of her vocabulary as she does not give up until she gets it resolved. Rochelle has sent me countless clients over the years blessing me with a constant stream of business that I am truly grateful for. I know once I get a customer lead from her that the groundwork has been laid out in a way that makes my job much easier knowing that they have already received an in-depth education both on product features and usage instructions. When I send my clients to Rochelle for demonstrations or after sale product support they always follow up with me thanking me for the referral and telling me how thoroughly impressed they were by her professionalism and attention to detail. It is such a relief to have a partner I can rely on and trust with my clients. Not only does she know her product inside and out but Rochelle has a wonderful personality to deliver the information in a way that is easy to understand and leaves you feeling great after every interaction. No matter the circumstances of our calls she is consistently positive and eager to assist with my every need. It is difficult to find someone who takes such pride in their career as most representatives are simply “doing their job” and unwilling to go the extra mile when faced with a challenge. My clients and colleagues rely on me to have the answers when faced with obscure or complex situations and if I don’t have a solution I know that Rochelle will jump at the opportunity to save the day. We've been long-standing high-end Miele clients. 2 sets of W/D's, 5 vacuums, 2 dishwashers, a Professional Ironing System, and most recently a 3rd dishwasher for our new home build. In 2018 we purchased the G6875 SCViSF dishwasher (the current version of this model is the G7566 SCViSF). $2500 price in 2018. In 2020 it began stopping mid-cycle with a "Intake valve" error message. Of course, it was out of warranty, but I loved my first Miele and wanted to have this fixed. A "certified trained technician" conducted the assessment and determined it would require several parts to fix. 30 days & $1278 later, it was "allegedly" fixed. Sadly this didn't last long. The infamous "Intake Valve" error message would randomly return. We recently sold the home and the new owners reached out regarding the "Intake Valve" error message and who we recommend. I reached out to the Chicago Exp Center (as directed by the Center Mgr from a prior discussion about our experience) since our vendors are within their territory. After 2 days on a merry-go-round and sent to the "888" customer service vortex, I was informed no one from the management would be following up with me, nor would there be any resolution from Miele, due to "insufficient" documentation of the events post the $1278 repair. We purchase "high-end" for quality and service, and not many folks out there want to spend $2500 on a dishwasher, they prefer to spend $600 and replace it every 4-5 years. The "888" vortex is even worse; it's nothing more than a cue card interrogation and the second you provide an incorrect answer (according to their cue card), the call is ended as there's nothing that can be done. This is a disgrace for a company that "prides itself on quality and service". If management can't face a 20-year client, who has spent tens of thousands of dollars on the Miele product line, they have no business being in management. Read moreMy husband and I have been planning our dream remodel for a LONG, LONG time. Though we live in San Diego we visited the Chicago showroom and met Rochelle in June of 2019. We were super impressed with how much time she spent with us and her excellent follow-up. Even though she knew we wouldn't be starting our remodel until 2021 she continued to check in once in a while -- but not in an oversell kind of way. While we were waiting for HOA approval for the remodel she helped me find a local Miele dealer so I could purchase a vacuum, (best vacuum ever) and gave us updates on when appliance models were being updated. Fast forward to July 2021 when we finally ordered our vacuum drawer, combi-steam oven, coffee maker and slim dishwasher. I know! Worst timing ever to order appliances but Rochelle continued to give us accurate updates on when we could expect delivery. It wasn't always good news but at least it was honest. She was particularly great at helping us when our local vendor refused to confirm our appliances had arrived. She contacted the regional Miele sales representative who was able to intervene and confirm that our local vendor had in fact received our appliances. Without Rochelle and the Miele West Coast sales representative I'm confident our local vendor would have sold the appliances to someone else and continued to lie to us. I have one more kitchen remodel in my future and I will definitely work with Rochelle in the Chicago office once again. Update: I realized this review never posted in 2021! It is now 2023 and today our beautiful new dishwasher for the kitchen (not the slim model we had installed in the other room in 2021) was installed.
