I've been a fan of Mack's work since his days in the classroom, and when it came to choosing a wedding photographer, there was no doubt in my mind that he was the one. I was so committed to having him capture our special day that I was even willing to adjust our wedding date if necessary. From the very first consultation, where I introduced him to my husband, Mack felt like an integral part of our family, and this feeling persisted until the final toast at the wedding afterparty.

Right from the start, Mack demonstrated a keen focus on communication and storytelling. We were also collaborating with a bridal stylist to bring our vision to life, and Mack's commitment to this creative process was evident. He went the extra mile by flying to DC for our engagement shoot, where he exhibited punctuality and adaptability at two different locations. Mack brilliantly translated our "School Daze" theme and beautifully captured the essence of our "grown and sexy" concept.

Throughout the planning process, Mack maintained consistent communication, discussing wedding details, color schemes, pose ideas, and essential shots. On the weekend of the wedding, Mack and the Summerset team arrived early in Raleigh, fully prepared and ready to take action. They efficiently directed our sizable wedding party and families, and their patience and professionalism in handling last-minute changes was remarkable. Every step of the way, Mack and his team prioritized the needs and desires of my husband and me, ensuring our day was nothing short of perfect.

Reliving every moment of our wedding through the gallery Mack delivered (4 weeks later) was the icing on the cake. The team executed exactly what we envisioned and more.

The Summerset team is the warmest and most professional team. We were nervous about finding a photographer we felt comfortable with, since my husband and I are on the shy side when it comes to photos. Since meeting Mack at a wedding event, we were instantly drawn to working with them. Since then, each person from their team that we worked with was incredible. The process starts off with a call where they get to know you and based on what you are looking for and wanting, they match you with a photographer that is a good fit. And they did such a great job matching us. We worked with Dominique as our lead photographer and had so much fun with her at our engagement shoot and on our wedding day. For our wedding we worked with Dominique and Marcus for photography and Mack as our content creator. They made us feel comfortable and made sure we had fun throughout our wedding. Not only that, but they brought incredible energy. As an added challenge for them, we also have incredibly camara shy family memebers that they were able to take out of their shells and made incredibly comfortable. After spending just few minutes with the team, us and our families were comfortable posing and taking photos, as they almost make you forget there is a camara there. It has only been a few days and because we had the content creator package, we already got an amazing video and previews of our photos. We have no doubt all of our photos will be incredible, and the videos that were captured were so special. They were able to find moments for us to connect with one another in the midst of a lot of activity. Could not recommend...

We booked 2 photographers for 12 hours of work (paying for additional time), and 2 videographers. When I got my wedding album back, there were significant issues. The album did not contain standard wedding images that we discussed prior to the day ( there was not a picture of myself, my husband and my parents, pictures of me and my bridesmaids, picture of us walking down the isle where you can see our faces), there were major editing issues (i.e., there was trash is our first look photos, all of the pictures were slanted, and the edits did not reflect the natural skin tone of the party), and there were no portraits of me and my husband. When I emailed Mack stating my concerns about the album, his response stated that he stood by the quality of work, editing, and issues. He stated the reason for no portraits was the photographers ran out of time (they did not communicate this to us day of and we paid for additional time). Mack did not offer any reimbursement or resolution to the issues with our gallery and photos (i.e., another photoshoot). Me and my husband had to hire another photographer to try and recapture...
