Chicopee Goodwill Store — Local services in Chicopee

The worst goodwill around. Online it says that this location closes at 7:30pm it closes at 7:00 while I went in at 6:00 to shop around a bit. Everything is just thrown every where there is no sizes so you have to go threw all the racks one by one to see sizes. That was already a little fusterating. Then at 6:43 I looked because I don’t like being that person in the store at close so at 6:43 the man who works there starts yelling closing in 10 mins at the top of his lungs and shuts of two rows of light. (No big deal letting everyone know) but then the guy keep yelling closing in 10 mins every minute that passes and keep shutting off more lights. Then The guy shuts off ALL the lights. Every one of them so it’s dark inside other than the light coming in from outside. Then this guy who works there walks buy me and tells me the register is closing and that I have 2 minutes. This honestly pissed me off I looked at my clock and said actually i have 6 minutes. There was still people in the store not just me. I put my stuff down then left. I will never go back there. It’s unprofessional and very unorganized. Maybe if you Didn’t have to search for you size you wouldn’t have to be in there around close. The one in Holyoke...

I'm sorry I don't think it's fair to give a assessment right now it is changed so much on the prices have gone up a lot and the deals are not as good so I guess I am given a bad review there wasn't much in the store to choose from and it seemed like it was second second hand or third or fourth hand things that were there people were not happy even at the season usually it makes people happy and they weren't happy to serve or to even be there I think that taking away of the green cards the $5 stamps and taking away return for store credit not being able to try things on makes it even harder to buy stuff so I just feel like that's business is hurting themselves trying to make more money by selling less things wow I said a lot I'm sorry but I was just very disappointed I guess I should just say that leave the rest to everyone else to discover...

I had written a review a year ago of how bad things had gotten, about six months later new staff got hired and everyone was more vibrant. Now they have a district manager running the store prices have gotten out of hand the merchandise that’s coming out is mostly garbage and overpriced. It’s upsetting seeing that this was a store I frequented every single day and now I will not be shopping here any longer. It’s sad seeing that this is the only thrift in Chicopee but if you want a store with better merchandise and no BS I suggest take the drive to Salvation Army...
