I heard good things about Ivy's and am new to Chillicothe, so I decided to drop by. It was very cute, very well set up. Small town vibes from the general merchandise and appearance. However, as with any other review, I would be remiss if I didn't comment the most prevalent impression I got. Which was the overbearing, uncomfortable hovering. I am unsure of the intention, but it was less than welcoming. As a result of this weird, unavailing feeling of tension, I will not be returning. I did not make this comment out of spite, and would gladly return to contribute to this local business, given some sort of alleviation. Walking into Ivy's is amazing. They have so many unique things. It is always my go to for gifts for all occasions, weddings, births, loss of family, and of course for myself. There is always something in your price range. There are also so many decorating ideas for your home. They treat you like family, and will walk with you to help select what you are looking for, or just let you walk around taking it all in. Experience ruined by thin blond employee, assuming either the owner or a manager, who hovered like my sister and I were trying to steal then made a couple comments that were uncomfortable and a little rude. I see from other reviews this is not uncommon. It's unfortunate because we are both redecorating out homes and saw several things I would have purchased, but I will not be supporting a business that thinks this is acceptable as other reviewers have provided plenty of opportunities to address...
