Where do I start? I am 60 years old and for the first time looking for a mother of the groom dress for my oldest son’s wedding.

Like most people, I am a little concerned about how I will look and want to be sure I “fit in” with the bride’s color theme for the wedding party and complement the mother of the bride’s dress choice.

Little did I know my own small town of Chippewa Falls provides the fabulous option of “Dressed Up” to help me navigate this unfamiliar territory.

My two best friends, and I arrived during the open retail hours and received the incredible blessing of being served by Kathy, the owner.

She is incredibly kind, helpful, and extremely capable of helping you find just the right dress! She has a very nice selection of beautiful gowns, and is willing to help you order something, according to your wedding, date requirements, etc., if needed.

We had an absolute blast! Kathy made the experience fun and comfortable, and now I feel like I even have a new friend in the community. 🙏🏼☺️

In a world of online shopping and chat boxes, how refreshing to stumble across Kathy and her incredible business, Dressed UP. I drove two hours to get to her store and it was worth every minute of my time. To find someone with so much experience and knowledge in the area of formal dresses was a real gift. Kathy makes you feel like you are the only customer she has. She literally starts from the ground up having you try on different styles, helping you narrow down the styles and colors until you feel confident in your choice. Wow! Wow! Wow! Our experience was beyond amazing. Kathy is wonderful and so accommodating. She helps you through the entire process of finding just the right dress. She makes it easy and fun! There were 3 of us, two needing dresses. She was great at knowing if you even liked the dress or not before you said anything. She would go find more styles.
