Disappointed is an understatement. I reached out through the "Bot" on the website inquiring about a two year old F150 limited with low miles. I was texted back very quickly and started a conversation with the salesmen. I was over 100 miles away so I needed as much detail as possible. I informed him I was trading a 22 GMC truck in and provided the VIN as I wanted him to have a rough estimate of my trade value so I wouldn't have to be at the dealership all morning as I was also going to look at a GMC Sierra afterwards. He said he didn't need anything because they could give me that value very quickly. After arriving at the dealership and inspecting the Truck, I was a bit disappointed as it had ugly aftermarket rims and inexpensive low profile tires. Not a deal breaker as If the deal is right I could try and buy a used set of factory rims and new tires on it. We took the truck on a test drive and there was a check voltage charging system warning light on which was concerning as this was a hybrid. The tires also had a bad vibration at highway speed. When we returned to the dealership the salesman came out and asked what we thought. I told him about the warning light and vibration and he said that could all be fixed. Not two seconds late he said "What is wrong with the front of your truck"? I had not idea what he was talking about but said the transfer case was going out as well as aa wheel bushing. I had driven there in 4 wheel drive as there was s snow storm so I told him he was maybe brake noise. He said they did not want to take the truck in trade unless I first went out and had it fixed. Really? Toycen does not service trucks? So I left and drove to the GMC dealer and looked at a more costly Denali. They took my truck on a test drive and came back saying it needed new front brakes. Dealer commented they could do that easily and really wanted to work with us. we arrived at a trade value equal to what I was offered by Carmax and above Carvana and Edmunds. I left with a stunning Truck and as a very satisfied customer by a dealer that wanted to sell a vehicle. I have bought well over 35 vehicles in my life, almost everyone through a dealer. Maybe it was just the salesman at Toycen? Too bad as I really...
Read moreBrought our 2015 Lincoln MKC in for a loud grinding noise appear to be coming from the front especially between 25 and 35 miles an hour waited all day. Dropped it off 8 AM. Waited all day for a callback. Did not get one called I believe it was like 230 2:45 finally call him And the service manager advised me that the mechanic believes that the rotors are slightly rusty and the noise is coming from the back is so loud that he can’t diagnose it any further when we spoke to him the service manager, whoever that I’m not, I don’t know his name sorry but whoever was I talked to at service advised us that yes the mechanic looked at it again and he is positive. The rotors were slightly rusty, and it was making all the noise from the rear that we should pay $450-$500 to fix the rear brakes and then then they would be able to diagnose it further. I did not believe in just throwing Parts at a problem and hoping it fixes it, which is the impression that the service person gave my wife and I she did not feel comfortable working with Toycen Ford any longer. I took it to a different shop and yes, the diagnosis was correct, but the messaging was terrible The other shop actually showed me that inside of the rotors which were not slightly resting. They were majorly resting, which means that the inner brake pads were probably rusted completely solid, and one of them finally broke loose and started trying to break on that rusty surface, which is what made all the noise also found that the rear splash pan or heat shield over the muffler which encompasses the whole back of the vehicle, head rusted around the fasteners and was laying on a muffler which amplified the sounds greatly. It did not appear that Toycen Ford actually took the tires and wheels off to make a diagnosis which if they did done that or would have helped greatly just lost all confidence even though they were...
Read moreI picked up my 2022 Mustang Mach-E EV today after a long wait, but it was worth it. Not only is the car a technological marvel, but the buying and delivery process was exceptional. I am 76 and have bought many cars over the years, but this is the best buying experience I ever had. The personnel were courteous, accommodating, fair, and customer oriented. There were no hassles or financial shenanigans, just complete honesty and a fair-minded approach. I give Toycen my highest recommendation. UPDATE 11/19/2022 I have had three service visits and all went well. Service department has been great with a special nod to Nate, who has been very accommodating and patient. 5 star service. UPDATE 2/2/2023 Went in for OTA but I misunderstand the components of this update. Service staff were patient and congenial in explaining updates available and showing me the status of my EV's software. This is a good dealership. UPDATE 10/10/2023 Here's another reason why we like the service department. We were getting ready for an out of state trip when we noticed a strut on the rear hatch needed replacing. While it is a 5-10 minute job, it required more brute strength than I have. I drove in, asked for help, and in 10 minutes was on the road with the hatched fixed. Great service, once again. UPDATE 1/24/2024 Had a major recall done. Went very smoothly. Best dealer service department in my 60 years of owning cars. Hats off to Cole, Grace, Nate, and The Burly Guy. UPDATE 8/16/2024 Got excellent service again. After getting a code to stop driving the vehicle, I made it to the service department where they checked out the car and they had me driving again. Turned out to be a false error code, but I appreciated the concern and responsiveness shown by Grace,...
