From the moment we walked in the door we could tell this hotel was poor quality. The guest waiting area near the front door had a TV on and the volume was very loud. We later came to find out that the person watching the TV was a regular guest and close friend with the hotel manager, Daniel. Daniel operated the front desk. By first impressions, he was dressed poorly and not very professional. During our first night's stay we could continue to hear the TV downstairs. I went downstairs and discovered that Daniel was watching TV with the regular guest at a loud and uncomfortable volume and neglecting his duties. I asked them to turn the TV down because there was not a threshold for the door on our room. Daniel apologized about the TV volume, but after returning to our room the problem continued. Also while in our room we could hear the traffic on the nearby road. The next morning upon awakening I went downstairs to have breakfast and the breakfast area was dirty, trashcans were overflowing, TV reception and volume was poor and at times the channel was turned to Spanish stations because of the women working there. Also, directly outside our hotel room the ceiling had a large hole in it from a plumbing leak, which was not addressed or mentioned by any of the staff during our entire stay.
We stayed at this hotel because it was close enough to visit Philadelphia for a few days before the conclusion of our trip. It is also worth noting that the other staff members working here were inconsiderate. One of them, Chris, was talking loud with his co-worker and would often answer his personal cell phone at the desk. There were also people coming and going to the hotel that appeared to be living onsite and were always monopolizing the computer and taking enormous amounts of pastries and other food items to their room.
The day we checked out of the hotel I spoke to Nicole at the front desk, and she was very nice and apologized for the problems we experienced. However, the entire staff needs to be reviewed and observed regularly to determine whether or not they are suited for position. Also, supposedly the hotel was remodeled two years ago but the hotel's structure from inside and out along with its personnel are not a prime example of how to run a hotel. If this were my hotel I would seriously consider selling it immediately because it does not represent the brand of...

Me and my husband have been coming here several days a week for personal reasons and for business we had to conduct in the area. We noticed that there was this one particular maid who wears her hair in a bun with faded color, and she occasionally wears dark glasses. She has been a problem since we got there knocking on our door way before checkout! One day, recently I saw her in the car with the manager, Luis then I put it altogether! They are all family and friends here! I made a complaint about her and harrasment started. I believe she is some jealous, envious racist! She likes to check after the maids, and she slammed the doors next to us excessively on several occasions! Then she would go in the room under us and bang around and slam doors! Next, we noticed that the hotel had over close to 100 or so rooms and we always had someone next to us even if the parking lot was almost empty, and they would bang on the walls or continously walk by our door. I called the manager, and he was ready and waiting with a smart azz comment knowing that we were here for business, trying to work remotely and requested a corner room so we wouldn't disturb other guest! Theses guest would be put next to us intentionalIy to disturb us! And when we'd move our room these same people would check out! I don't know what the problem is! We come in, mind our business, keep quiet and to ourselves, tip and checkout! So I realized that it's just racism and discrimination and lots of people hate good people and want to cause them problems! I think that Luis and his girlfriend - HEAD MAID BYTCH/WYTCH IN CHARGE should be FIRED and CHRISTOPHER SHOULD BE MANAGER! He has excellent customer service, he's cordial and accommodating. Because of Luis and his girlfriend's antes and discrimination other people have probably left and taken their money elsewhere like we'll be doing! This place could be at least a 4.6 without those 2 there and a few updates to the rooms and carpet. Also, stop catering to just Contractors! They are not the only ones who have money, and they are not the only clients patronizing this business! It's a good area and lots of traffic! But with those 2 in charge, it's more like a 2.8! It'll be a new year soon and I think new management is just what this...
Read moreCons: Desperately needs remodeled. Entry doors are beat up, carpet in common areas and rooms is worn, discolored, stained, and torn. Curtains stained and torn. Comforter stained. Holes in the wall / damaged walls. Ceiling pealing. Toilet seat loose. Chair badly stained all over. One long strand of black hair in the sheets. Doors damaged. First room smelled terribly of smoke (strong). Had to move to a different room. Breakfast minimal and coffee bad. (out of 7 of us, only 1 grabbed something for breakfast, and it was a pre-packaged muffin. we wound up going to Dunkin and spending extra money to get coffee / breakfast, and I'm not picky about my coffee, it was just bad.) Not the best area. Confusing to drive around and New Jerseyans are crazy drivers. Stupid local laws like "no backwards parking." If your vehicle nose is facing out, the police give you a $50 ticket.||||Pros: Decent staff. Roll Away bed available. Able to book last minute. Cheaper price, but not even close to worth it for what we got. Sheets / bathroom looked / seemed cleaned. It looked like they ran a vacuum. The problem is that day to day cleaning will not fix all the terrible stains, holes broken things, gross feeling etc... I was confident enough in the clean sheets / bathroom to use them (We did stay the night and not get another hotel. But another hotel would have easily cost us $200-$300 more at...
