I really like the shop! I came once with my elderly auntie and they gave us a senior discount. I was able to buy a traditional folk Ukrainian blouse with traditional hand cross stitch embroidery. I was supposed to pay $250 and the sales clerk let me have it for $130 so that was nice. She also suggested some rare items the shop offers of products from all over Europe. I told her I want to know the difference between product shipped from Russia and from UK and she was able to point out the difference between the traditional souveoand which country they're from. I got some cute hand painted wooden all items. Super cute! I was happy to find a couple children's books. But, I was disappointed that they were around $30 each. So. I was only anito buy one for myself and one for a friend. I wish they were more affordable. I'm was happy to find a soft cover small book on clearance for under a few $ so I guess it evened out in the end. They need a bigger sign. I had no idea they were there. In a tiny whole in a wall type of space. I love their pharmacy optiouod natural medicine. I think we missed the manager who was more informed and experienced with all the product and the knowledge of their uses. She only works till the afternoon I guess. I came here to buy some medicine. I had fun exploring different options. I checked out various herbs and herbal teas that are used as natural remedies for various conditions. You either have to know what you want when you come here or you can just take on an adventure of exploring (kinda what I did) and check out the package instructions, look up online or on ChatGPT in order to acquire what you can use for your health benefits. The sales person was super helpful and she offered her take on many herbs I asked her about. She is super nice and welcoming and was not annoyed with multiple questions. I have been a regular at Citrus Plaza Books & Gifts for many years! It's a awesome Slavic bookstore with a huge variety of Russian and Ukrainian books, Bibles and Bibles for kids, among other things. And the people working there are knowledgeable and treat their costumers really well. I've always had a great experience there!
