Update October 14 2025. I continue to be reminded of the disastrous experience withJudi’s cleaner parent company “Lyon’s restoration” that charged my insurance 76 thousand dollars to “clean” my belongings to get rid of the mold. They said they stuck everything in an ozone machine. Well as I’ve come to learn you can’t stick everything in an ozone machine bc it melts things as I’ve come to learn. This company is arrogant and they refuse to take ownership of mistakes. And don’t let me get started on the how they “dry cleaned” my leather…these people are awful. Simply awful.
Update June 8. They brought my clothes back. And they ruined some of my most precious pieces. They didn’t care for my clothes at all and ruined two one of a kind pieces that I can never replace. They ruined pleats and elastic and my long lace dress came back torn. I’m livid. Don’t use this business. The owner is greedy and a total jerk unwilling to assume responsibility. He’s the type that will tell you it’s your clothes fault it got ruined.
Update and response to owners post. I added photos of what some of the items that was supposed to have been cleaned looked like. Does the tights look like they were cleaned? Does the blender look clean? How about the mold cap? This is a company that knew I had mold exposure and was sick for months. They are trying to make me look like the problem when I only resorted to online reviews because they wouldn’t communicate. I had items they brought back tested and EVERYTHING that was tested after being brought back after promising to ozone and wash EVERYTHING came back positive for mold. Instead of apologizing, and trying to make it right, they mocked me and called me bougie because an organizer needs to come back and put ALL TEXTILES BACK as I have already done it once. The owner saying he has done everything I have allowed is not true. He wrote a letter to insurance saying they will wash textiles one more time and that’s it. His General Manager said, they didn’t have the resources to re clean everything.
Additionally, he’s saying this is a completely different entity when they told me this is where they are bringing my clothes to be dry cleaned. I have tried to find out where my belongings are after being taken away to get re cleaned, but they won’t tell me. So, Ben, had you not been a jerk when I called you, we wouldn’t be here. So yeah, I left reviews on LinkedIn and will share my experience until YOU APOLOGIZE and correct the mistakes you’ve made. I want to know where my clothes are. I want to know what the process is. If you aren’t going to dry clean and wash everything that needs to be washed at Judi’s then where???
Update: I had additional textiles tested and it came back with mold.
Lyons Restores is a division of Judi’s and they are horrible. They charged my insurance 76 thousand dollars to clean the content of my home. When they returned my belongings the rugs were not cleaned at all. They had cat hair and human hair and full of dirt. The blender had stuff all over it. The owner is scum and told me I had to put all my belonging back myself after my insurance paid to have my house put together. His general manager said they didn’t have the resources to come to clean everything else but they don’t want to pay what others charge. He said I can just hire a house cleaner. Obviously he doesn’t get mold. He was a total jerk. Now they have my clothes and I’m...
Read moreI really wanted to love this place. I signed up for recurring weekly wash and fold service over the phone. I was told I could leave my clothes in bags for the first pick up, they would wash and put in their hampers to drop off, and they would charge me for however many hampers I used, $25 for one or $40 for two plus a one time fee of $10 per hamper. Pick up was seamless, but my clothes were returned in paper bags with a receipt of $75 for 25 lbs of laundry. Each hamper holds “about 20 lbs” mind you. I emailed the company to explain that I had been overcharged and had not received any hampers. I received an apology in reply, along with a promise that the hamper would be dropped off the next day and my account would be credited. The hamper did not come the next day. I emailed again asking for my account to be cancelled and for the credit to be applied as a refund. I was credited 27.05, so I was still charged 47.95 for 25lbs of laundry, when I should have been charged $25 plus perhaps the $7.95 overage charge, totaling $32.95. Perhaps I was charged for the hamper I never received. Overall, this was a pretty rough customer service experience and I would not recommend...
Read moreI'm pretty disappointed. I brought my wedding dress here to get it cleaned. They wouldn't give us a price. We asked for an estimate and they refused to give that too. They said we'll just have to pick it up in roughly a day or 2 and pay then. Anyhow, it didn't take a day or 2, more like 2 weeks. Then they charged us over $400. We were rather shocked, since you would think they'd at least give an estimate for such an expensive purchase. I honestly thought it would be less than $200. We didn't get it preserved and the dress doesn't have any lace, details, or layers. Just a white material- Not even an expensive or fancy one, like silk. No yellowing, no staining aside from some dirt on the bottom hemline. I'm very petite, so less fabric, too. It was just super disappointing because at that point, there isn't anything you can really do except pay (even though it was a hefty amount after throwing a wedding). We felt like they sort of didn't tell us on purpose. I just wanted to give this feedback so future brides/newlyweds would be aware of the potential cost to...
