I usually love looking around at all the selections of antique goods. I had visited before and bought a good amount of children books. The first time I went there the lady at the desk who I think is the owner only charged me $5 which is reasonable seeing books at other thrift stores are fairly decent price or even free. I went today and the same lady who checked me out last time who I believe is the owner, counted all the books this time which I had way less then I did before and said oh it’ll be $25. I got way less books probably less then 10 children books. I told the lady last time I got more and you only charged my $5. She goes no I didn’t I would never charge that for all those books and kept denying she charged me that. I politely declined the transaction and walked away. I love it here but please make the prices consistent. Not go $5 one day and then $25 the next. 🥹 The prices there seem to be a tad...
Read moreI think if you're in the area and have time to kill, its a decent place to go. I wouldnt go out of the way to visit, though, unless you're specifically interested in modern knick-knack/decor type of stuff. It seemed like mostly bulk buy junk to me. As others have stated, the pricing is all over the place. There were some interesting older items but they were not priced to move compared to other CNY antique markets. While I didnt find anything worth buying, I did have a good time walking around browsing. Unfortunately, my husband did not. We had split up to look at different things and I found out after we left that the male owner was following him around trying to appear as though he was straightening things up. My husband wasnt behaving inappropriately and its laughable that the owner thought anything in that store is worth...
Read moreHORRIBLE. They keep on getting google to delete my HONEST review because the TRUTH really hurts them. First of all, they all SHOULD wear masks. Why go there and chance becoming infected by them? Secondly and not least, they lie and advertise that they buy and sell things. They buy NOTHING from the public. I went there several times before the pandemic and the rude lady there always says that they are not buying ANYTHING and have not been for a long time. And what really kills me is that they offer 6 cents on each can or bottle return. WOW! That is really a lot of money, isn't it? I mean, is it really worth going there and risking catching covid from all the non mask wearing staff there for just mere extra PENNIES? And she has a pitbull with aids running loose to bite...
