Thrifty Shopper — Local services in City of Auburn

Be careful in Thrifty shopper stores. Their are many of very good bargans yes. But watch out. Some things are priced as high or even higher thain brand new store bought itoms. They always have a 2 color sale price which is nice that does change every now and then on clothes only. Go have fun & good luck. My favorite are the books especially the cook books and the DVD'S but you must open them & look. Many of times you will find some missing or scratched up so bad that they will never play or the wrong 1in the case and how about the empty case. If you buy it that's it. They will never make it right with you. In my opinion that is steeling. Salvation Army does the same thing in that department. In their opinion the price is low so buyers be ware. I Love the Salvaction Army for prices. You usually get the good bargans there. In both stores beware of the battery opperated tools. Staff is super rude! The guy with the slicked back hair and glasses is always miserable as well as the old guy! Was here today and everything is marked super high! Someone needs to really look into these places getting free items and selling for store level and eBay pricing! It’s not right and middle class and under can’t even shop here anymore. We know someone in the Seneca falls store and she even saying it’s not regulated and staff price based off google lens and eBay which is wrong. Dude to prices and rude staff I’m no longer coming here! PleAse don’t respond saying “we’re sorry your experience was unpleasant” people complain about staff and prices here all the time and nothing is ever...

The older man that works there during the day is miserable. He has a very snarky tone and gets snappy easily. He makes me uncomfortable while checking out. He will ask for your phone number, you start to give it and he yells "HANG ON!!" as if he wasn't the one who asked. I don't know if he needs better training on the POS system or what but his attitude makes me avoid that store as much...
