Wegmans — Local services in City of Geneva

I went to wegmans in Geneva. N.Y. a couple weeks ago , since I purchase my food with an Insurance Benefit card, I inquired at the customer service desk to be sure they accepted that particular card, I had read on wegmans website that they did, however the lady I spoke to said no, which was fine , except the tone in which she answered me, was a bit rude, and I decided I would not be shopping there again. She made me feel like I wasn't good enough to shop in that store,I am a widow in my 70's and need the assistance, I wonder how many more individuals that has asked that, has been made to feel the way I walked out feeling.Where is the compasion in this world today? You work all you life, then lose your life partner, S.S. doesn't give you enough to live on ,and you find yourself needing a little assistance. Too many people today are rude and have no understanding of how hard life can get when you suddenly find yourself alone needing just a little help to ensure healthy food for yourself, only to be spoken to in the way I...

--- 2025/09/08 --- Been visiting THIS Wegmans since Apr-25 and can confidently say THIS is a well run location.

Today the produce section had run out of fresh tumeric and the young lady working the area checked in back for me. Fortunately they also have tumeric in the frozen section. 🥶

Most of their cashier's are good a bagging and I've learned which ones to stay away from for my sanity. 😵‍💫

I'm not usually one to give big companies a 5⭐ review, but THIS Wegmans location is really good.

--- 2025/07/22 --- Since you can't place a curb-side order with cash 💰, I went inside today and for a chain grocery store it's very nice.

--- 2025/05/27 --- Been using Wegmans online shopping 🛍️ and curb-side pickup service for a while now and as a former FTE at Kroger Technology (2013-2018)... the associates at Wegmans in Geneva have clearly been trained well. Keep up the great job team. 👷‍♂️🙌📣

Geneva Sub shop- May 2023 Am I the only person disappointed that the sub shop changed the deli ham that they put on the subs. I was highly disappointed, as I felt that the ham they're currently using is much dryer and it is small rounds almost flavourless. The laddie ?Duffy/Daffy? That waited on me when I asked her about change she extremely was rude, snooty and said I don't know I can't eat ham. Terrible sub customer service. I also couldn't buy the original ham at the deli they took it off the shelf, so I couldn't make my own sub at home. Overall today's experience was not good and won't be eating subs until the original ham is back, or is offered as option because Auburn Wegmans still sells the 98% fat free ham. Wegmans is one of my top stores and services are usually top notch, so today was just not...
