I have been ordering the same 9 prescriptions every 90 days for years. They are always out of 3 of them and this time they will not be in for 9 and 12 days respectively. I can either go without or get a partial ( and pay 282$ instead of 141$). Also- the pharmacy marks my fill date as the day they finally fill them, not the day they were due and requested. This results in me always having to be without. I am an educated bachelor's prepared RN who is well aware of how dangerous this practice is (as well as the terrible customer service). The pharmacy is wonderful, but the front clerks would have fewer conflicts if they adjusted their tone and did not immediately go on the defensive. If you assume a customer is going to a problem, the customer probably will. Aside from that, and no fault if the cashiers, the store, or Walgreens, has some over the top policies. For example, don't have your 22 year old daughter place the Dayquil on the counter unless she has id with her, even if you have your id and are the one purchasing, because you will not be getting the Dayquil....
Read moreRite aid was way better. Walgreens changed everything around so much, it took me more time to find something in the medicine area than i wanted to. The labels are scarce and do apply to all in the area. Walgreens sends me way too many text alerts for my prescription and calls on top of the text ( 3 text and 2 calls) every time in a matter of two days. When i did go in to pick up my script the god damn pharmacy was closed from 1-1:30 for lunch. What the f. No good deals on products anymore, its like they took a good thing away when they switched over. RITE AID...
