I made an appointment with Berlin on a whim from a friend’s suggestion. I was due for my first haircut after finishing chemotherapy and my hair is still in a transition phase, so I have been looking for someone who can cut super short hair without making it look spikey.

I was advised to go to a barber, but that didn’t feel right to me, so after the suggestion was made I booked with Berlin at Liberty & Beauty, since his profile mentioned he works with short hair. I was so happy I did and love the cut.

Berlin took his time, scissor cutting my super short hair, giving each snip focused detail. The scalp massage during the conditioning process was an added bonus to my already relaxing experience with him. I was so happy from the cut, the conversation and his kindness that I already rebooked with him.

I am happy that I took a friend’s suggestion and visited L & B. Looking forward to my next appointment and to continue to watch what Berlin will do with my hair as it finds...

I went here when my usual stylist was unavailable. I'm always a little nervous going to someone new, but I like to try out businesses that give Newburgh a chance. I was not disappointed!

Adorable salon. Clean. Modern. Very tasteful. Music isn't too loud and it's just a very comfortable atmosphere.

Liam cut my hair, and I will be going back. I have long, straight hair and people often think that's nothing to cut. Trust me. I have had my hair ruined time and time again. Liam instantly had me at ease. He talked to me about what he felt was most appropriate and made suggestions I would be comfortable. End result? Probably one of the best haircuts I've had in years.

I’ve been going to Joel for over two years now. I live in LA but always see him when I’m visiting my hometown because he’s better than any stylist I’ve found in LA. His blowouts are flawless, his haircuts are consistently great, and he’s a total pro with color and products.

I’m writing this review because he just opened his own salon, and he truly deserves all the recognition. The space is cozy, welcoming, and feels like a hidden gem on Liberty.

This trip, I brought a tough client with me and Joel worked his magic. He walked out loving his hair more than ever. It looked incredible.
