The taste of everything was pretty good, but… the service was a bit unprofessional. The one who helped us had never made an affogato before and asked the manager for help. However, the manager didn’t know how many shots it required either and had the cashier ask the owner. Both the manager and employee also struggled to find it on the register. When our affogato finally arrived, it was already 98% melted, leaving us with just a spoonful of ice cream. Having had many affogatos before, we know how they should be served. (The picture was taken a little after it arrived, so of course it’s fully melted but I didn’t even see the ice cream when it was served.) When we showed a picture of what it should look like, the owner (or whoever was in charge) dismissed it as fake, insisting that the ice cream melts quickly and that there were two big scoops in the cup—hard to believe, honestly... (even chat gpt knows better) We noticed them later gathered in the back, discussing the situation, which we found amusing. They should really try an affogato themselves to understand how it’s supposed to be served before offering it on their menu.

Our first time at Café Little Treasure ,truly lives up to its name as a hidden gem in Newburgh, New York. From the moment you step inside, you’re welcomed by an eclectic and quirky atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The menu offers a delightful array of options, but the French toast is an absolute standout—perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. Pair it with their rich and creamy hot cocoa, and you’re in for a real treat. The coffee is also exceptional, with options like macadamia nut milk to cater to various preferences. The staff are friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Café Little Treasure is a must-visit spot that promises to delight your taste buds and provide a cozy retreat.

Where to begin...the burger was handmade patty (not frozen) with a nice peppered seasoning, melted cheese, onions, pickle and a spicy mayo sauce. The Cubano was the real prize! The pork had a savory, almost steak like sauce to it. The ham and cheese complimented the sandwich and the bread was toasted with a nice mustard glaze on the inside. The fries were crunchy and made into nice bite sized pieces to dip perfectly into their spicy sauce or ketchup (yes they had 2 sauces available) and lastly, the chocolate chip cookie was balanced with a nice gooey, melted but still consistent body. Overall well worth the price and the staff was friendly and attentive.

Decided to go out for breakfast today and we were lucky to find our first option not open for business. So we searched local spots and Little Treasure popped up. So glad we found the treasure. First of the service was friendly and welcoming, the cafe is small but it has enough seating to be able to enjoy the vibe. All the items on the menu looked great, but we finally settled in the Calabrese sandwich and hashy bowl. The sandwich was so good, you could taste the freshness in the ingredients and nice heat and the end of each bite. The hash bowl had crunch potatoes, eggs and a great dipping sauce. Overall a very pleasant meal and we will be returning. Do yourselves a favor...
