Harbor Freight — Local services in City of Niagara Falls

I have been going to the Niagara Falls NY location since it opened a few years ago. For the 1st few years it was a pleasant experience going in to shop. They have changed employees since and the experience isn't quite what it used to be. The employees at the store now are very cold and rude in most instances. One of the 1st managers there had the same name as me, 1st and last name. He was very polite and professional. The cashiers were friendly and always willing to help. When I went in today I must have been assigned a loss prevention employee who kept following me around the store and even kept reaching in front of me to take items off the shelf to look at them. I have spent a lot of money in the store, thousands and thousands. In the future I will start to shop at Home Depot for a lot of similar items I can get there as opposed to HF. I hope that management from Harbor Freight looks at these reviews from time to time and corrects these problems before it gets to be an even more miserable...

NIAGARA FALLS NY STORE, MILITARY ROAD. Terrible customer service, manager was very unprofessional and ignorant when I returned a purchase I made because the pump didn't work. I wanted to exchange it for the same thing, they didn't have any more and didn't know when more would come in, had one at another store but refused to have it shipped to this store. Also refused to give me the floor model part/pump. Could of easily swapped the part out being it was only for display no one could tell by looking at it. What if I had the extended warranty ? Guess they didn't care. Won't be shopping here again, need to hire a better manager with a better professional attitude and people skills. If it was my business she wouldn't be...

I shop here quite often and I know that it may not be an accurate review because I go there so often but I walk in there and people know me by sight or by name and if I have any problems trying to find something you know they're quick to help me and their return policy is pretty good yeah you're going to have to pay a little bit of a fee you know for restocking in that but it's much better to do that than have to have somebody tell you what we can't take it back I highly recommend anybody that buys anything from them to buy the extended warranty at least a year because things do break and you got at least a year to be using it and if it does break they'll take it back no questions asked...
