Alteration Center — Local services in City of Syracuse

I took my wedding suit in to have the pant and sleeve length brought up about an inch. It took two weeks, which would normally be fine. When I picked my suit up I headed home to try it on, only to find that she had done literally nothing to it, and still charged me 50 dollars to "alter it". I essentially waited two weeks for her to hold on to my suit, and do nothing with it. I had to call her back, confront her and bring it in a second time for her to actually do anything. Her excuse for not making alterations the first time was "there was a custom stitch in the sleeve she didn't want to ruin" but instead of calling me, giving me this information, and asking if I wanted to proceed with a new plan, she just decided to do nothing and charge me all the same. When she finally did alterations, the alterations themselves werent great either, the buttons on my jacket sleeve were placed back on visibly crooked. I love this place. They are very nice people! Professional! If they are going on vacation, they WILL let you know before hand so you are prepared. And they SHOULD take vacations as we all want to!! I always pile up a bunch of stuff to take to them and they always give me a reasonable time to get it back.
