Franklin Square Park — Attraction in City of Syracuse

Franklin Square Park has grown up so fast. Now we have a climbing gym, a Freedom of Espresso coffee shop and a Spaghetti Factory. I have yet to make it over to Burnt Acorn Brewing nearby or the Preserve, but the two fun spots for beer and community await so close to Franklin's statue. Plenty of raw industrial buildings to reclaim for mixed use retail & housing. The square has a carousel, rebuilt fountain and a pitch and putt course which includes replicas of Pennsylvanian historic buildings.When I visited the square was ablaze with colour, lanterns, butterflies and pigs to celebrate the Chinese lantern festival. There was lots to look at.the Chinese additions had transformed the square, making it difficult for visitors to get a true picture of the square.who knows what...
