Honestly some terrible customer service at this location. Mom and I went in right before closing to quickly buy a pair of running shorts. I wanted to try them on before purchase and when I said "excuse me" to the sales associate, he turned to me and said "what's up" and I explained I needed to try these on. He told me to ring the doorbell on the fitting room until someone could help me. Why he couldn't help me then and there is unknown to me. Then, after waiting for an associate to open the fitting room, the service associate said "we close in three minutes" to which I explained that I had been waiting there for a while for someone to help me. When she called the manager to ask for permission to open the changing room, the manager told me to "be quick about it" which was a rude enough comment. Then, when I went to pay, the manager told me I had to go all the way to the other side of the store because that was the only register that was open. I said "you could have told me that" to which he shouted across the store "I did" and when I shouted back "no you didn't " he continued to yell at me across the store that he did. We purchased the running shorts and needed to leave out the exit that had already been closed. They made a big "to do" about opening the doors for us but eventually they did. It was just a poor experience and a lack of professionalism on behalf of the sales associate and the manager. Especially for a paying customer. I hope there are some training opportunities here in the future regarding appropriate...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI bought a bike here May 30th 2020. Customer service was wonderful. They kept the bike for about an hour and a half to āservice itā which you would think would consist of making sure all of the bolts were tightened properly. Haha. Boy was I wrong. Tell me why as Iām going down a hill on onondaga lake parkway, the handle bars come loose and i go to hit the brake and they are super loose and barely push me to a stop. I could have been hurt severely. I bought it back to Dickās where I was met with Jack, the GM. Heās a cool dude and tightened it to spec, but when I asked for a small discount on a pair of shoes, he declined immediately and continued on with his day. While I am not an entitled human, I do believe I was entitled to SOMETHING for the possible bodily harm I could have faced while riding this death trap of a bike that was sold to me. Now i bet youāre wondering, why did he not know the bike wasnāt tightened before he left the store? Well, it was tightened JUST ENOUGH to take on a short, light bike ride through the store. The laziness of this generation boggles my mind. Do something right or donāt do it at all. I am extremely dissatisfied with this overpriced store. Dickās was always a class act, but these days theyāre SUBPAR AT BEST. God bless you all and have a great day. PS. Retrain your bike department. They are below average with the service...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had called looking for a ski jacket. I was told that there was one available made by under armor and it would be set aside. When I had arrived the jacket was thin athletic wear, and I had found that I had driven to the store for no reason. I had asked the clerks to help me look for another jacket and they stood motionless. I asked the manager to mark down a suitable ski jacket 33% to match the price and product I was told I was getting, that I had driven to the store for. The manager then told me that the jacket that was set aside for me was a ski jacket, because it was made of goose down, and he would not mark down this other jacket suitable for skiing. I doubt the under armor jacket would have kept someone warm even while cross country skiing. This is a store of non-service, and excuses for said non-service. What a...
