The Auburn — Restaurant in City of Utica

Absolutely the most awful experience I have ever had in my entire life at the Auburn tonight. My husband and I are regular customers at the Auburn, and couldn't love it more. However after our experience tonight with their bartender, we will never again be returning. We always play QuickDraw and tonight after we paid for our games, we won $4 back. When we approached the bartender to get our $4 back that we had won, we were told we never paid for our initial games..... We clearly and remembered 100% we handed the guy at the bar $10 along with our ticket when we decided we wanted to play. After all games were done that we had played, we told the bartender that we had won $4. He told us we never gave him money and told us get the ** out of "his" bar and continued to cus at us in front of all of his customers. So unprofessional, 1st of all and just not okay. He then continued to argue with us that we never gave him money, but we 100% did, and we know we did. I absolutely refuse to step foot into this bar again. The Auburn should be ashamed that they have this "guy" ( I refuse to even call him a genentlmen) working for them as their employee. He is ruining The Auburns business and it is just so sad and frustrating so see. For us, with the awful customer service we received, and the fact he deceived us our money (and essentially stole it) we will NEVER be back and we're sad to say that as this was one of our favorite places. This is dated on 11/1/17 and we are %99 sure this guy was also on drugs, considering how quickly he turned and went off on his customers. Absolutely unacceptanle. Will never...

Love this local, home town place. Always welcoming to all and the perfect place for a good time with good people. They also have a great fish fry...

Just no the happening place to be. Low mood, no ambiance at all. Best thing about the place is the cheap beer and the lottery ticket machine...
