China Wok — Restaurant in City of Utica

Really disappointed in the place. Used to be really good. They made a mistake on our online order (1 general tso + 1 sesame chicken), and were not clear that they gave us 2 sesame chicken instead of what we ordered. We called back to see if they give us the correct order (and give one of the sesame chicken back), but they said they couldn't do anything without talking to a manager. Husband had to go up there and they refused to correct it, and charged us for another general tso (had to keep the sesame chicken). Absolutely terrible service. Quality has definitely decreased, as well. The "fried rice" was not fried at all. The replacement general tso was bland with absolutely no flavor. Very disappointed. We definitely will not be back, and will never recommend this place again. I can forgive a mistake, but not with the terrible service. I have pictures as proof of their mistakes, if anyone is...

Spent just under $50 for our family. Got home and everything was horrible. We have eaten here in the past and enjoyed it no problem. However my husband's general tso chicken was no less than 2 days old, dry, over cooked, definitely reheated, and no sauce. This chicken took up 3/4 of his combo so he couldn't even try to fill up more on lol mein, which was supposed to be chow mein in the first place. My pepper steak with onions was just as bad. The only part that was edible was the peppers and onions. My steak was nothing but chewy slop that was gray. The sauce didn't even help the color. Was passing through and decided to stop here for lunch. The reviews saying it’s dirty are just…wrong. It was very clean, it’s a small establishment with hard working people who make excellent food. They do their best to make sure you are satisfied. I selected no side, and the gentleman went through to make sure there wasn’t anything else I wanted. He gave me an egg roll for no extra charge just to make sure I got a side. Very sweet people, the food was delicious. I ordered bourbon chicken with pork fried rice and got the pork egg roll.
