San Martino Ristorante — Restaurant in City of Yonkers

the only reason i’m giving one star is for the french fries. my waiter was okay. it was a group of us and they got a jug of soda but never asked me if i wanted anything to drink and it was hard to get ahold of someone. when i asked another waiter for a drink and to add something to the order, my original waiter came over and seemed annoyed i wanted a drink and a bowl of sauce. no one checked on us while we were eating at all. i ordered the surf and turf. great deal for $30.95 right? wrong. its barely a half in steak and a quarter of it was fat. the lobster was small and there was a little piece of lettuce, tomato, and a little piece of onion as the “garnish” that was just thrown on the plate. if you were gonna spend money on a garnish like that, put the money into getting better food! my food wasn’t hot at all, it was just warm. my friend had pasta and meatballs. her pasta was a little mushy and barely had any sauce. she asked for another bowl of sauce which she needed to remind the waiter of to get. it was nice to receive a free appetiser but that won’t get me back in the restaurant. the food tasted mediocre, it wasn’t anything outstanding. it tasted like a regular restaurant food. i order a shirley temple as well. it wasn’t mostly soda and didn’t have a cherry and...

Last night friends gathered for a reunion here, in the greenhouse. I had an opportunity to bring my daughter here when she was a little girl then we had a great time. I've been coming to this restaurant for 44 years. I took my 1st girlfriend here for lunch during lunch in the 6th grade. I have basically grown up here. Their food is delicious. The portions are generous. The prices are fair. The service is also very good. It once was a great pizza parlor but not anymore. It is a full service restaurant with delicious food and catering. I highly recommend penna with broccoli rabe. Their Italian cheesecake is good. You can eat either indoors or in a glass enclosed porch outdoors which is very nice. I've watched a family evolve and see children grow and grandchildren work and help out the business. I highly recommend this place for families and/or couples on a romantic dinner. You will not be disappointed and it is one of the best restaurants in Westchester over the years. Everything here is consistently good....

What an outstanding evening @ San Martino’s Italian Restaurant and no better way to celebrate the ending of the Covid lock down than enjoying a deliciously authentic Italian cuisine @ this culinary gem. The food, staff and ambiance were sublime; and coupled with the Vegas style entertainment provided by the magical music man, Bob DeSimone, made for an highly entertaining evening. My choice was the sea food salad and chicken parmesan, both decadently delicious and fresh. If the food menu alone is not an enticement to come, then the weekend entertainment venue will. Today’s performance was provided by The Bob DeSimone Vegas Show. From Sinatra to Dean Martin, Bobby Darin to Bobby Rydell, Bob Desimone will satisfy your appetite for great music and serenade you with his great voice; combine this with the great food served @ San Martino’s, you assuredly will keep coming back... in my case from Manhattan!!!!
