Hair Salon: I honestly never post reviews but after a conversation with the hair stylist, Solenny, and her lack of accountability, I feel the least I can do is warn others. The stylist is extremely unprofessional. She has booked two 9:30am appointments with me and the first time she was 30 minutes late. She did a decent job at the hair cut, but she did make some fleeting comments about my appearance that I did not appreciate. That alone should have been a my warning to never return to this place. But because the hair cut was decent, I tried to give her a second chance. However, she was over an hour late to the second appointment and I had to leave. I called her after I left to ask what happened and she said it was my fault for booking the appointment 4 days in advance instead of 2 days in advance and that I should have called back two days before to remind her that I booked an appointment with her. She was extremely rude and disrespectful and I could not believe what I was hearing. At the end of the day, the hair cut was not so good that was worth all of this. I used to go to Renu back when it first opened and for some reason stopped. That was many many years ago. Being pressed for time, I decided to go last week. I'm usually the person who only lets the owner touch their brows but I figured it would be fine. After all, they are the most popular threading place in north Yonkers and all I wanted was a clean up. I went in and saw a tall, heavy set, light skinned woman, with light eyes. I told her, "just clean it up." She nodded. When I got up from the chair and looked in the mirror I saw that she had taken most of my eyebrow off. She definitely did not just clean it up!!! I was shocked. I also broke out on my face, which commonly happens when bacteria touches my facial skin, and I remembered that she never used sanitizer between me and the previous customer. My eyebrow doesn't grow in spots and only my eyebrow lady knows that, that's why I specifically said, "just clean it up." I would absolutely never return. Now I have to wait for my eyebrow to grow in again so it can get it's shape back. Wasted my...

I will never come here again. I came for an eyebrow tinting and the customer service is terrible. I walked in and no one acknowledged me so I sat down. I waited for 15 minutes before another girl walked in after me and they tended to her immediately when they should have helped me first. I was clearly bothered by this but the workers just looked at me and continued on to whatever they were doing. I wouldn’t have been acknowledged either of I hadn’t approached the desk and asked the women there when I’d be serviced. With our any apology for what had just happened she just told me to sit in one of the chairs. A young woman just immediately started working on me without introducing herself. We did not discuss what shape I wanted - since the dye obviously stains your skin too - but that doesn’t matter since the dye came out incredibly patchy. She literally just slapped on the dye and nothing else. She didn’t put anything on my brows after to clean them up and make them look nice. Don’t come to this garbage place!...
