Visual Nails — Local services in City of Yonkers

I have read the reviews for this place and was initially discouraged to go here but they are the only place around me that open on a Sunday. I went 2xs and had an average visit. They aren't very welcoming but they accommodate me and I was satisfied with the work. We don't have to exchange pleasantries as long as the service is good. Today would have been my third visit. I walked in and said good afternoon and not one head moved up to acknowledge my entrance. I waited by the door because there was not a seat available for me to sit. All the seats in the waiting area were occupied by coats, bags and half asleep children. No one asked what I wanted, no one asked me to have a seat or move something out the way for me to sit. I stood by the door for 12 minutes before I decided to walk out. The goal was 15 but the level of insult won over my patience! I walked up the block on Tuckahoe and found Princess Nails. They were warm, inviting and welcoming.. Plus my nails look amazing! Moral of the story don't continue to give your hard earned money to businesses that don't not appreciate it. What they do trust me someone else can do it too! All while appreciating your business and respecting you...

Worst place ever!! I went to get a pedi and an acrylic. The acrylic was $40 on the menu but i was told its gonna be $60. I let it go and after they finished my toes and made me wait 2 hours to do my nails because apparently only 1 girl there knows how to do acrylic, my turn is finally there and she ends up calling someone else that came way after me so i went up to her and told her its my turn she goes like I'm not gonna take you " i dont know how to deal with your nails"!!!!!!! I was beyond shocked that someone would speak to me like that and i did nothing but wait for my turn so i told her are my nails different from other human being nails because idk why she would say that. She then tried to cover up what she says by saying she never did acrylic and called the manager Tina that i normally do my nails with.. instead of solving the problem she asked me to " Go to another salon if i want Acrylic" in front of everyone. Absolutely rude staff and managers. Absolutely...

This is a really good nail salon! I absolutely loved it! First off, street parking is easy (have to pay meter) -- super big plus. The salon is spacious and clean. They have a section for nails, another section for pedicures and a spa on the bottom floor. All the nail-specialists are respectful and friendly. They sterilize all of the metal tools used for each client --yes, clean nail salon-- Prices are pretty fair. They take credit cards (with a minimum of $15). When I walked in I was greeted nicely. I wanted to do gel nails (only the nail gel lacquer) but I saw another client getting the NexGen gel nails (with the powder) and I fell in love! so I asked if I instead could get that and my nail specialist was very nice about it and directed me to wait for another specialist.
