I found Hair Dimensions several years ago and I will never go anywhere else. It is the nicest, cleanest, most professional hair salon I've ever been to. The staff are all extremely competent and knowledgeable and is run so smoothly. The owner is wonderful and gets to know her clients and how they are being provided for. NORA is my wonderful, perfect, talented and extremely smart hairdresser. She is compassionate and truly cares about her clients. Her professionalism shines through. From Angela at the reception desk to the very competent assistants it is a friendly comfortable atmosphere and i'm thrilled to be a part of their 'family'. Oh.. and they will serve you coffee (or water, of course).

Updated review January 2021: I have been traveling 98 miles to my hair salon (Hair Dimension West) for several years... happily! I've now moved closer (1 hour away) and will continue to come here forever. Nora is my hairdresser and she is phenomenal. She is efficient, professional, kind, talented, meticulous and overall magnificent. I have no ulterior motive to say these things. Just hard truth from a very grateful senior who finally found this perfect hair salon. They are all so nice and accommodating from the owner to all the staff. During Covid-19 they've done their research, comply carefully with all protocols, gone above & beyond for their clients and staff. I walk in and out smiing every time.

I have now been to Hair Dimension Yonkers twice in 5 weeks time for my initial and second appointments with lovely Lidia. My initial appt. was about as pleasant as it could be. Lidia was very sweet, personable, and easy to talk with. Backgound: I had my hair cut about 10 days prior and was unhappy with it so I attempted to fix it myself -- what a mess I made. Lidia fixed what I did and blended it all nicely. I was very pleased. I made my follow-up appt. then for 5 weeks time figuring it would be perfect for a cut or trim. I went for my second appt. days ago and liked my cut/trim even more than the first cut. There was no wait time for either appt. and everything was perfect from start to finish. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful, the shampoo ladies were both very nice, easy to talk to, and gave an amazing head massage which was very much appreciated...especially for a new customer. Each of them made me feel very comfortable. The salon is large and very clean. Since this is all during the CoronaVirus Pandemic, everyone was social distancing and wore protective face masks. Considering the great location -- close to my home and steps away from my job, travel is a breeze and the price was very acceptable and a nice value. On the whole, I give these experiences 5 stars and already have my third appt. scheduled for 5 weeks time again. See you...

Hair Dimensions is by far the best hair salon around. From the moment I walk in, I feel like I have an entire team dedicated to helping me look and feel my best. Stephanie is a true expert when it comes to cutting curly hair—she understands the texture and shape like no one else. Irena handles my color, and she treats my hair as if it were her own, with such care and attention to detail. For special occasions, Inez is my go-to for flawless make-up—she always makes me feel stunning.

One of the things I love most about Hair Dimensions is the atmosphere. There are no egos here. If you feel another stylist might be a better fit for your needs, everyone is completely supportive and understanding—no hard feelings, ever.

Everyone—from the front desk to the stylists to the hair washers—is amazing. The entire staff is welcoming, professional, and genuinely kind, creating a warm and comfortable environment every time I visit.
