Plaza Garibaldi — Restaurant in City of Yonkers

I am a person who enjoys good food, good service. Well this place must have been one of the worst restaurants that I have been to. First of all we were seated by the speakers with the loudest music. Not even the server could heat us. My ear drums were destroyed. We placed our order, the worst food ever. I ordered the steak nachos, when I received them all I thought to myself, wow, nice serving, the nachos looked like they had a nice amount of steak, but it was all refried beans , disappointed a approached my server and she told me that's the way they make it. A tiny amount of steak and a pound of refried beans, when expressing this she looked at me with the oh well expression. I also told her how unhappy I was. She still had the oh well face. Then we had a take home plate, we asked for a container to get some of their red and green sauce and the guy server, said oh no you can't have none of that and quickly removed it from the table. I can't even put into words how I felt at that moment. We asked another server and she went to that back and gave us 2 frozen servings in a small container to go. This was my first time eating there and I LOVED IT. They have live music, and their singers are really good! Dinning place is set up in a way that it pays homage to Mexico and it’s history and it looks pretty amazing. Once I got in I was seated promptly and Juliana was my host. She was amazing and very attentive through out my stay there. I ordered food and drinks and went to wash my hands and I when I got back freshly cooked warm food was ready to be served! I am really impressed how they have cut down the wait time and had food out to my table so quickly. Food in itself was absolutely on spot. I’d give 10/10 for food alone! I loved the atmosphere and really enjoyed my delicious food with nice melodious live music sung by talented singers. My server Juliana was very attentive through out this and kept getting refills and everything else I needed. This was my first time visiting and I wasn’t expecting to be blown away with such an amazing service, food and atmosphere! Needless to say I will definitely be going back there again. If you're into enjoying live music with your food, this place is for you. Personally, I think it (along with the preparation of the guacamole in a molcajete in front of you) is a distraction from the food. I would prefer that they focus on the food. For instance, we were greeted with stale tortilla chips and some salsa. My friend ordered the mango flavored margarita and it didn't feel like it had any alcohol in it. The service was suboptimal despite it not being a busy Sunday night. We had to constantly be on the lookout for our waitress as she would seem to vanish from view. I ordered the carne enchilada burrito. Overall, the burrito was good and was presented nicely although the accompanying pico de gallo was quite watery.
