Old School House — Local services in Claremont

Not sure why it self titled 'Old School House' vicinity. The restaurant I'm reviewing is 'Elvira's Grill's. I am not a local but was taken to dinner by my niece, Nancy. Just the two of us. It was the first day back on campus for the semester so it wasn't very crowded. We parked in the back(did not realize it was, the pictures show how pretty the back entrance is). Went inside to check in and be seated. We sat outside, it was a lovely evening. Music was pleasant. Servers were all very prompt and friendly. Food was quite tasty-we shared a King's platter (if that's not right, sorry) of carnitas, shrimp and chicken. So very tasty! Washed down with their margaritas. I had some poblana enchiladas they where great the side of Beans where not for some reason mine where fine but my lady's where not. It is if they did not care arrogantly we let management know the beans where a little off, but they didn't mind. Management brushed it off like we don't mind. They place is nice butt honesty they do not seam to care. Prestige is of essence...

Really enjoyed the evening as we had our Christmas Party there with a murder mystery. Waiters very efficient and fast with bring out the food etc. Front employees very friendly. Ny only not so good is the dessert was pistachio Ice Cream and for people with an Allergy there was not another...
