Sherwood Florist — Local services in Claremont

If I could give this company 0 stars i would . They have ruined my birthday. My fiance tried to send flowers to me. Their driver did not ring a door bell or knock. I called them they refused to redeliver them yesterday night. They claimed they would deliver them today at 10am. I gave them a phone number to reach me at it is now 11am and still no delivery. I call them the owner is screaming and yelling at me saying its my fault that i rejected them. I told her no one came i have been sitting here . She then changed her story and claimed that someone else rejected again i told her i was the one waiting for the order. She then tried to change the story to claim it was my fiance fault for giving a wrong number he didnt. Then it was the online companies fault and they rejected the order late last night for a wrong number well why would that be the case when i personally called with my number. They will not claim responsibility for their drivers original mistake or their mistake today. Thanks to them I had a ruined birthday 2 days in a row that left me in tears and no flowers. What a charming little flower shop and boutique. I've only discovered Sherwood Florist in the last six months, from a local friend's referral. I had always driven by and admired the building at the intersection. They told me that this classic florist had changed ownership recently. With that news, the shop was gravitating towards being a chic and quaint flower shop as opposed to one that relied on generic flower orders.

The store is stocked fresh with a wide variety of flowers, along with a ménagerie of hand-crafted gifts (ceramics, books, candles) and houseplants. Sean, the owner, is very accommodating and supportive of the local community. All of the staff have been as helpful and understanding with my walk-in requests for simple flower bouquets.

The florist now offers a variety of events that serve the Claremont community, such as a handmade market and workshops in mediums such as flower arranging (crowns, seasonal arrangements, ikebana), cyanotypes and much more. I can't say enough nice things about Sherwood Florist. Aside from the fact that their arrangements are beautiful, and turnaround is fast......can we talk Customer Service? These are some of the nicest people I have ever interacted with, and I've been on the planet quite awhile. Last week, I stopped by to pick up a plant for a friend, and realized the doors were locked. I turned to go away, and one of the associates shook her head NO, as in NO I'm letting you in. WHO DOES THAT????? She opened the door to me after hours and took care of me, in that same pleasant, efficient manner that all of them do. I can't recommend this business...
